On the Z8, is there a way to save frames per second between banks? It's always frustrating for me to switch between banks and find out that my FPS got carried over from my previous shooting scenario. Great video.
Yes it looks like it, under the Custom Shooting Menu - D Shooting/Display - d1 Continuous shooting speed. You will want to make sure to set this for every shooting bank Cheers

@@brianw6645 Yeah i just checked and it does. It's not something I had setup before, are you not seeing the frame rate change in the upper left of the viewfinder
Yeah, big game in Africa would be very different from birds and wildlife in the BC rainforest, with the new noise reduction software, I think auto iso makes sense for most situations here. But that's what's so great about the capabilities of these cameras you can shoot them as they work for you
I've always shot in manual mode and wondered why others shot wildlife using Aperture priority mode. I now understand after you explained it.

@raincoastphoto I do have this set for every bank, but it doesn't change when switching between banks. What am I missing?
@ you have to switch the custom setting banks as well shooting banks when you switch between them. Put both of them in I menu

All Pros here in Africa shoot Manual only occassionally go Auto ISO.. Nikon shooter for 53 yrs
