This song is over 50 years old, 1973, and is from Aerosmith's self-titled first album. They have been on the road, touring the world, ever since. One of the hardest working, hardest partying bands in the long history of Rock and Roll. Originally from the middle of New Hampshire, they moved to Boston in the early 70's, worked their asses off, got a record deal and 50+ years later are still a going concern. Their first four albums are their true best stuff, but they have had hits in every decade since the 70's. "Train Kept A Rollin' ", "Toys In The Attic", "Walk This Way", including their tag team effort with Run DMC with a remake, "Back In The Saddle", "Last Child", "Combination", "Kings and Queens", "Lightning Strikes", "The Other Side", "Janie's Got A Gun", etc..
When I was 15, my oldest sister was in a position to plan her entire funeral.. she did.. & it was perfect.. This was the last song played.. her very favorite song dedicated to all of her favorite people..
I seen them in concert at Pine Nob 1977. They did play this one. They sounded just like there Albums. That's record's 8 tracks, and casserole taps. God lm old 😂
Great reaction Ashley I'm one of the biggest Aerosmith fans out there keep in mind Steven Tyler wrote this song when he was 16 years old before Aerosmith formed
Great reaction, Aerosmith has a great catalog. Steven Tyler's voice is amazing, I'd like to suggest ( I don't want to miss a thing ). Just another one of their great songs. Loving your reactions.
70s Aerosmith albums is the best from the first album to last in 1979 for a full listen if you ever get interested .. Draw the Line album was the most polarizing between the fans ,I didn't like it for many years but now it certainly is a fav ..
This is probably their most famous song & there’s no getting around that scream of Steven Tyler’s, lol. Classic! I think, if I had to pick a favorite though, it would be Walk This Way. ❤ Check it out sometime if you’d like to.
Hey Ashley, first time I'm listening to your reaction. Loved that you liked this song, and am glad you didn't interrupt it as much as others have, so keep that in mind. Impossible to "feel" a song if you interrupt it every few seconds, so good job.
PLEASE ASHLEY, Can you make this your FIRST Repeat on your network? We're at the beginning of May, and it would be MAGNIFICENT to have this as a repeat.......You were so much into a motivational spirit......thanks, even if you don't replay. Cheers
I recommend watching a lyrics video for their song "Amazing". Steven Tyler (the lead singer) wrote the lyrics about his struggles with drug and alcohol addiction and it's such an inspiring message.
So now, you MUST react to "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing" because between the lyrics of that song and the way Steven Tyler belts that song out baaabbbyyy...THEN watch the movie the song was written for, Armageddon. SO GOOD!
You should listen to SOS (Too Bad), Seasons Of Wither, Lord Of The Thighs AND ESPECIALLY Woman Of The World from the album Get Your Wings. That is Aerosmith at their very best. Start with Woman Of The World. Once you’ve heard it, you’ll judge almost everything else by comparison. It sets a standard that very few can match. Much love ❤️
This band goes way back with a few 'Come-Backs'. Check out *Old School* meets *Old Old School* in this video: *"RUN DMC - Walk This Way (Official HD Video) ft. Aerosmith"*
Check out any live version post-80's ... when that high note becomes the absolute shit, Steven's already great voice opened up like you wouldn't believe ... " Howard Stern's Birthday Steven Tyler and Slash " ... it's world demolishing
being from New England and them being Boston Boys, this song hits differently due to the Boston Marathon bombing as this became an anthem to be Boston Strong. Steven Tyler is also good for at least one fair during the fall in New Hampshire as the band as a whole spend a lot of time in my home state.
I always get a laugh when young people ask who sampled a song? Who cares about who copied it? I've yet to hear a song with a sample that was better than the original song. When i was a 20 odd year old, i was listening to music from 2 or 3 decades before because it was the best music...nothing has changed...that same music is still the best.
Aerosmith is one of the most known rock band. Bigger than gun's and roses or even Bon Jovi. I'm 55 year old black man, that grew up on the Island, and if we wanna hear substance after the 90's, we needed to listen to the rock bands if we wanna listen out of our own language. After the 90's they played mainly dumb down black music. For substance we had to stay in our own language. In the 90's the radio station went for good sound but trash music.
Trials and tribulations: I hate victim mentality! My opinion is that if you do not know what sadness and despair is then how will you know what happiness and content is!?!
You never heard this? Funny stuff. They've played it a thousand times around the world. Where were you? Trying to properly speak the word "Ask" which is not said as the word "Axe". Jive talk.

This definitely crossed-over when it came out. Especially here in Boston.
Perfect interpretation of this classic masterpiece and iconic rock and roll band
One of the best rock-metal bands🤘

You've gotta see the UMN dance team perform to this!
With this came out, I wore out the needle on my record player.
Amen! Sister!! Dream until your dream comes true!! God puts it into your heart to fulfill that dream!! He will give you the strength to fulfill it!!

Great song, and a great reaction. Also, your encouraging words fit well with the song, and they are sound advice. Thanks for the video, Ashley.

There's NO ONE LIKE YOU.......Power-Filled Song, May3rd, 2024.....It's one the songs I came into my own with.....THANK YOU
I grew up with this song - and it truly hits differently as you "age" the wisdom hits hard...
Yeah, those are some good points. And that’s a great way to look at it: the new year has begun, so it’s time to chase our dreams.
Very good advice, and yes, you are right. ❤
I'm really here for the hip-hop classics/ Griselda.... but this is a BANGER. Timeless classic
"Angel" is another great & popular song by them & so is "Sweet Emotion" & "Living On The Edge"
This is probably their most famous song & there’s no getting around that scream of Steven Tyler’s, lol. Classic! I think, if I had to pick a favorite though, it would be Walk This Way. ❤ Check it out sometime if you’d like to.

I love your attention to detail. For a funky Aerosmith song try their song Last Child
Thanks for telling the truth!

Pink Floyd -"High Hopes" 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Deep song, but they say he was 17 when he wrote it? Haven't confirmed that but ahead of his time on that one.
This band goes way back with a few 'Come-Backs'. Check out *Old School* meets *Old Old School* in this video:

Tyler wrote this when he was still a kid
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍
Gotta hear Morgan James cover of this with Post Modern Jukebox
This song came out the year before I was born. You're probably younger than than the Eminem version. Both are classic and timeless.
This was used in the movie the Last action hero maybe you heard it there
❤

I don’t know about being bigger than Guns and Roses
They were never as big as Guns n' Roses were in the 80s & early 90s
Oh yes they were. And the came out of the 70's. Yea I was there...
Chris Stapleton- Tennessee Whiskey
Van Halen- Ain't talkin bout love
Same rift from "Stairway to Heaven" Led Zapplin
Eminem sampled it and the song is called Sing for the Moment

Have you heard Foreigner's I Want to Know What Love Is? Or, Waiting for a Girl Like You?
Please react to Amanda Brown singing the cover of Dream On from the competition of "The Voice" (USA)
To me this song was never long enough
Released 1973.
This was sampled by Eminem in "Sing for the moment".
React to Tommy Johansson's cover of She's Gone.

You should react to the live version with slash from guns and roses..
I think
Eminem sampled this
Eminem sing for the moment
Aerosmith was a studio band. Their live performances were atrocious.
Eminem
