Yes. Dark souls 1 actually restored my humanity and helped me recover from depression. And so i am forever grateful to this legendary series and its creators.

I’ve put over 700 hours in this game with multiple 100% playthroughs and watching this reveal still gives me chills! Best game ever made hands down imo! I only stopped playing because my Xbox shit the bed but I rebought it on PS5 and have over 300 hours on that console lmao.

@@zekonja90personally, i obviously would love to play it on pc but my whole catalog of fromsoft games is on my PlayStation. And I want to keep it that. Also i am not used to mouse and keyboard for these types of games. So i prefer a controller.

My Twitter feed was just blowing up with Elden Ring news. After finally watching the trailer myself, I am so fucking hyped for January!
Damn this goes even beyond berserk craziness. It reminds me a little of shivering isles(oblivion dlc) or maybe that new chaos thing from seven deadly sins. Also the ambient of the world kinda reminds me of shadow of colossus. I hope it becomes a new franchise to replace our need for more dark souls

@@yurtthesilentgod1225 the entire point of the series is to challenge the player and have them learn and overcome the odds through knowledge and skill. Why would they have a multiplayer focused game with that in mind, it would dilute the entire ethos of the series. Wouldn't bother me if there were no multiplayer trophies either, or they were separate so the original demon's souls players and dark souls players who love this series and want to finish it themselves can do, and get the platinum trophy and explore the world free from the toxic invaders

your walkthrus helped me thru my first ds3 playthru which i struggled with beyond reason. since then ive gotten pretty hardcore into pvp, invading, fighting ganks and figuring out advanced pvp maneuvers...ive gotten pretty decent and for the most part ive moved past pve focused content in general for ds3 and otherwise, in favor of deepening my ds3 pvp addiction and knowledge.
im really really exited to be a noob again and get some of that sweet sweet cowboy help again. i would never have gotten to where i am today in ds3 without your walkthru carrying me thru my first playthru and it will be a real treat to do it again with elden ring.

Was hoping for a holidays release date but early January isn't bad at all, can't wait to jump into yet another Miyazaki masterpiece
The best part is it’s open world (I believe). I’m going to take my sweat time exploring every nook and cranny of this game. I’ve done it with Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls (1,2,3), Bloodborne, Seikiro, and now this one.

I like dark souls too but i had the same reaction. This is dark souls 4. There is literally same the same animation with spells and move sets.
@@1223optimus pretty much. They changed ashen one to tarnished and first flame to elden ring. I mean, it's still gonna be a ton of fun, but it is just another souls game.
One thing to note is that it obviously seems more open story heavy. Unlike the other games that hide the lore in every item description.
It's going to tell an amazing story while being a souls game, it's also going to look glorious

I didn't watch the trailer, going into these games as blind as possible is the best way. Their trailers always show all the bosses and such which takes away from the exploration and mystery imo. I did however catch very brief glimpses because I had to feed my curiosity and those few seconds I saw looked fucking amazing. Best way to play these games is not knowing anything and discovering all by yourself.
I'm watching this now and the trailer showed like 10% of the game.
