A childhood dream crushed, because he barely had a chance. He was only around for 2 movies. The amazing Spider-Man 1 was definitely the superior to TASM 2. But after his second movie of playing his childhood hero. He was fired. It makes me sad to know how he was treated and he definitely deserved better. Andrew. You will always be my Spider-Man.

I’m not a huge spider-man fan Never read a comic..... Just watched the movies..... And amazing spider-man1&2 are my favourites. For many reasons. But the best is, this is one of the only films I can think of where I got emotionally invested in the obligatory romantic plot. It really felt real. Not just their chemistry for each other which was off the charts, but their individually as characters. The way they progress through the story seems so real, natural and sweet. If Rami’s MJ is a nice girl why does she like flash? Where Gwen is a nice girl who naturally isn’t impressed by flash’s bullying of a random kid. Peter insulted him publicly to get him to stop, but that just shifted his attention to Peter instead. She actually saves Peter (ironically) she’s smart enough to get him to stop by distracting him with offering to help with his homework, subtextually saying “if you want my help with your homework that you need, stop what you’re doing.” And we can find out in class that Gwen was impressed by what Peter did. Her attraction to Peter begins when she sees he’s a good person who will stand up to a bully to protect a kid, even if he’s the only one who will while everyone else cheers Flash on, even if that means he’ll probably catch a beating.
Also, spiderman in both comics and movies deals with some of our daily life problems, heartbreak, stress, toxic people, etc. unlike other superheroes such as superman or thor who although having certain issues related to being a superhero, we cannot relate to them as human beings, thats why i love spiderman, and pete.

Every actor has to research information about a character they play before they start filming the movie. Christopher Reeve never read a Superman comic book. He agreed to audition because he was familiar with the T.V. show.
This is an actor who never let the role get to his head. Someone who understood that it was a privilege to contribute to the larger than life mythos. Just wish his movies were better but his passion for the character was unmatched
You can tell how much Andrew loves the character and how much of a spider man fan he was growing up here, it's a shame that alot of people didn't give him the chance that he deserves until now after no way home.
I had my reservations about Andrew, going into Amazing spiderman. I didnt really like Tobey in the first trilogy, but respected him as the first movie Peter Parker. But when ASM came out, Andrew Garfield did awesome in the role. But in ASM2 he completely made character Peter Parker and Spider-Man his. He did Great, and it feels good to hear him be so loving to the character.
10 years before and 10 years after Andrew removed his spidey mask and the People's reaction was same and way more louder after 10 years in theatres! (As Uncle Ben said: Things have been difficult lately, but come home peter and we love u and your My Hero!)
I love that look on his face, he's got such an expression of joy and pure happiness. This is where he's always wanted to be, and he's there, as a true fan.

You can tell that he genuinely cares about Spiderman that he’s a really big fan and this must’ve meant the world to him that he get to play this character but Sony they just screwed him over and not just Andrew but all of the talented People who worked on this movie

Every actor has to research information about a character they play before they start filming the movie. Christopher Reeve never read a Superman comic book. He agreed to audition because he was familiar with the T.V. show.
This is an actor who never let the role get to his head. Someone who understood that it was a privilege to contribute to the larger than life mythos. Just wish his movies were better but his passion for the character was unmatched

You can tell how much Andrew loves the character and how much of a spider man fan he was growing up here, it's a shame that alot of people didn't give him the chance that he deserves until now after no way home.

I had my reservations about Andrew, going into Amazing spiderman. I didnt really like Tobey in the first trilogy, but respected him as the first movie Peter Parker. But when ASM came out, Andrew Garfield did awesome in the role. But in ASM2 he completely made character Peter Parker and Spider-Man his. He did Great, and it feels good to hear him be so loving to the character.

@Daniel Aloysius Gumulyo If they do that then I hope they have an actually good idea for the story and not that god awful original idea for ASM 3 "Spiderman was going to take a serum that will bring back all the people who died like Gwen, Captain Stacy, Uncle Ben". I always knew Andrew made a good spiderman but he was just given a garbage script and plot to work with so it limited his acting Tobey and Tom didn't have those issues when they did their films so that's why they were way more loved than Andrew was if they do ASM 3 and give it a good plot and script I bet you tons of people will love Andrew.
