This is such an awesome build man! I built an 84 rabbit with a 1.8T almost the exact same way. I have loved seeing all the little extra things you do for your wiring and fab work I will be copying a ton of your ideas for my next 1.8T swap. Keep these videos coming! They are so awesome!!

Great work, and it is really coming along amazingly😊
Nice to see some of the suppliers you are using, too.

All coming together nicely now. Would be curious to see the dent in the poor guys wallet. There must be 30k+ in this. Fair play to the customer for the commitment to turning a £300 snotter into this and your attention to detail in achieving so. Nobody said motoring was cheap but motoring/hobbies take the piss😂.

And some 😬 the owner is a awesome guy though and he's got his 1 of 1 caddy with all the little details he wanted, most people don't understand how much it actually costs building a car from basically scratch.

I bet. Cant beat old school. Nowadays its plastic ebay splitters and grill lights and its a 'show car'....to this kinda level would cost 6 figures on a modern car. I miss the days where u could spend a few quid on some used bits and have a right laugh with small hp and no weight. When its done u gonna have a big void to fill.

I’m shocked that all of that work has gone into it and the inside of the cab isn’t going to have the rust treated and painted?
Love your attention to detail so I’m guessing that’s on the owner for some reason?

The owner did say he wants to keep the old school stickers etc inside. It might be all re done when the outside resto is done as the windows will come out.
      Thanks for watching 😁

Surely the main carpet goes in first, and the edges overlay over the main carpet, so you can't see the edging 😅

Na they've designed it so it's like a 'mat'

Show car? Can’t see how that’s going to compete with the caddy builds already out there that don’t win anything
It would need to be something really special to be a contender? So far it’s just been done a thousand times before
Especially as nobody is bothering to paint the inside of the cab of it even, screams corners cut bodge not show car

Be patient, this is phase 1 getting it on the road and tested, all the bodywork and paintwork will be in phase 2. Thanks for watching 😁
