imo AUT started going downhill after ascensions got added. The balance changes have been extremely questionable from there on and the game just doesn't feel the same at all (not even gonna touch on dawn and umbra, those are just too far gone). Other than that it's just been so dry. I'm still somewhat hopeful for the future of AUT, but as it stands right now it's not looking great.
