Yep. I find real designer items of a much higher value at thrift stores. I don't need all these cheap little items from 5 Below. I just got a set of 2 (Brand New!) wall canvas, high end, that currently sell for $135-200 each... I paid $5.99! And a pink Tiffany style lamp, $4.99 that currently sells for $160+. Quality, value, + style is everything. ❤️

Unfortunately due to ppl reselling now all these resellers who made it there job who dont want to work a real job have caused goodwill in my areas to raise their prices like crazy I went to goodwill for pots and pans and they wanted for some old used shit $10 a pot and $10 a pan it was insane its ridiculous corporate greed is sick the CEO is rich asf and the goodwill stores income dont actually help people in need it's all lies.😢
just like another commenter suggested, try doing item swaps with friends or checking out thrift shops, there are some great finds (and prices) to be had. Plus, youre giving an item a second life instead of buying brand new.
Always check the packaging at the bottom of the baskets or the tag. I've seen "decor" items at Walmart that have lots of warning labels about food or being around pets. just thought I'd throw that out there. I love your videos 💕💕

Out of all the five below candles, only one scent is good. They also don’t really change how the room smells. They’re good for the aesthetic and that’s about it.
Things I wish they had when I was in my dorm room at 19, and in my first apt at 22. Making whatever space I have feel comfortable and cozy definitely puts a smile on my face. ❤
The universe is going to be coming through this year with an office for me at work but I’m also broke 😂 so I need to get over there and have my decor locked and loaded for when my boss tells me that I’m moving out of my cube 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Hey babes! Another way to shop frugally is to save up for items that are going to last. Fabrics that are sturdy and you can take care of, storage containers that are good quality and are always in style, etc. it may cost more upfront BUT it saves you money in the end. Of course if it’s an urgent need and/or your budget will not be able to accommodate a pricier item for then 5 below and stores like it are a life saver (been there) and the perfect choice! But if you’re just buying a cute item because it’s cute and currently in style, it will inevitably go out of style and you’ll feel the need to replace it. Then when that one goes out of style, you’ll feel the need to replace that one (and this cycle will repeat ad nauseam). It will cost you more more in the end and you’ll be stuck with all the old stuff (not to mention you’ll be creating waste and supporting exploitation of impoverished workers unnecessarily). Highly recommend considering if you can set aside money to buy a longer lasting higher quality (and hopefully ethically made if possible!) item any time you have a non-urgent need. Sure you might not have that cottage core bed room the tik tok girlies have, but you can rest that your stuff is durable and timeless, saving you time and money in the end :) it’s all about separating need vs want. I hope this helps!
Honestly these dollar stores have been really upping their game lately and I soo here for it🥴😍 as someone with very little to no money each month I very much appreciate a good dollar store!😂❤
I absolutely love 5 Below so much. The only item I ever had issue with from there was the thin stranded cotton throw that’s all folded up. I machine washed it with towels and sun dried, but i had to throw it out cause it reeked of ammonia. Oh and their glitter makeup stings me on contact, but I use all their shadows and perfumes. Buy the perfume. It’s gonna smell good. The Born Pretty acrylic nails they sell for 5 are at dollar tree now for a buck. Don’t worry, ima still go to 5 Below for my screened tees, throw pillows, stuffies, exotic candy, fun phone cases…I really do love that store
Hey guys, wonderful that you’re shopping at low budget stores, but don’t forget that your local goodwill and thrift stores have SO MANY THINGS that are great quality for so much less that any store. Try not to feed into consumerism unless you have to! There’s so much stuff everywhere, I promise you’ll find amazing things if you just look❤
