I am trying to do exactly the same with my street bob 2012 model.....I mean the quick detachable sissy bar fixing.....your idea of increasing the rear bolt length from 2.5" to 3.5" really solves the problem and saves the price of signal directional/relocation kit.....thanks for amazing work.....keep sharing

Had to do something similar on my street bob w/ the cycle visions plate. I have some Viking Warrior saddlebags and ended up having to mount the taillights onto the plate mount. Just bought a quick release sissy bar, so now I will have fun struggling with the bolts too haha

Good job. I was originally going to go with a removable sissy bar but instead decided to just bolt it to the frame so that I could use the same extended mounting bolts for hard bags (need to get them painted). That way the bar and the bags are both bolted directly to the frame instead of a bracket attached to a bracket attached to the frame.

Nice set up. Only thing I’d change is getting rid of the pedestals on the turn signals. If those are stock housings, Harley makes a plate to clean up the signal(look at the front housings). Or better yet, just buy some front signal housings. I had a similar setup before I went with the alloy art signals.

Not sure of the brand but they do make rear quick disconnects that let you utilize your stock turn signals and the wiring goes through the center of them so it looks OEM.

I don't understand what happened to the wires from the turn signals back into the rear fender? Before they were wired through that second hole in the fender. Then the signals were pushed outwards, the wires couldn't go through the old holes due to the new sissy bar, then there was no explanation on how to rewire the signals?

Props to you for carrying a first aid kit! I'm sure you already got one by now but my advise is do the research and build one yourself. Carrying supplies you don't know how to use doesn't help anyone so learning how to use everything as you build your kit is super effective! A great base to start with is:
-1 CAT or American Rescue tourniquet
    -1 roll-up splint
    -2 ace bandages
    - vacuum packed cause
If you have room for more double the list! Love the videos man keep up the good work!!!

Why care if subscribers think your intro is too long? They still watch it right? I dont care about your intro length, because it's the work you do that ultimately matters. Here's a link to a first aid kit company (maybe a bit big for a bike, but you can decide what you really need). Keep doing what you have BEEN doing, because those are the videos the majority appreciate I'm sure. The rest of the people are looking for a quick "how-to" because they're too lazy to enjoy what they signed up for
