I'm surprised that that many Americans liked our Filipino food. My mom is fond of cooking Filipino food for us despite the fact she's half Spanish. Sa Philippines sya lumaki and she knows a myriad of Filipino recipes. Your channel is very interesting. I think I have to watch more and maybe I'll sub.

Uh no. Americans have our own soul food, Filipino food is delicious but it’s not “soul food” to Americans, which is its own cuisine based on recipes passed down from former enslaved Africans to their descendants.

You gave me an idea of what to cook for my American colleagues. Almost 2 months palang sa US {nurse sa NC) pero napaka-welcoming nila. I've been asked twice na to bring them Filipino food. Would've been easy if ingredients are easily accessible sana, but I'll definitely cook for them. :D

I do the same her at my work too, I took off work then cater sa ,abas na ng building naman. And during events dito sa mwr. But this time mahirap na kumuha ng helper sa pag cater.

most ng mga client niya mga black.. parang pansin ko madalas na nasasarapan sa food natin mga itim.. kasi sa filipino resto samin, usually pag lunch time, mga itim na workers din madalas dumadayo... maybe culture din nila mahilig sa maalat, vinegar, and yung masebong taba.. just my observation.

I'm impressed by you ate. Pagpatuloy mo lang yan. Sana umasenso ka pa. Pero sana wag mo iibahin ang accent ng mga Filipino food like when you said "Pancit", you sounded like a foreigner saying it. Sana Filipino accent parin ang gamitin mo kahit mga Americans ang sinasabihan mo ng "Pancit" para din kasi sila mismo, matutunan nila ang Filipino pronunciation ng mga dishes.
