I am celebrating it inside. We can watch fireworks on TV, watch patriotic movies, and listen to good music. My husband bought BBQ ribs ahead of time from a restaurant.... perfect.
My parents recently bought a swim spa in thier backyard. My sister & nephew are coming over for dinner & then we're going to swim/watch local fireworks.
My family watches them in the car now. 😅 This actually didn’t start because of my illness but it’s so much better that way. It hasn’t been bad until the last month or two so we started doing it right when I needed it so it worked out 😅
I like watching fireworks from nearby the park but not in the park that they set them off from. It is cooler at night in the desert where I live. This year I won't be though. I am going to take some watermelon to my friend's house who had an operation recently.
All my kids are coming home and we are having a BBQ - at 7:30 pm so it's not quite so hot. Everyone brings something along with whatever they want grilled so no one person gets stuck with cooking or cleanup. All the fun with way less stress. LOL - then they all go home.

It will be raining all day here where I live so indoors for me! 🎉

Pause umm laundry, sleeping late, etc.
Spending time inside with your kids, baking a cake would probably be your energy limit.
