So much progress. A few weeks ago when you had a breakdown, I was so worried because it looked so far from anything being finished but I am really seeing a start. Looks incredible. Your husband, Josh and your dad have worked so so hard! I’m so happy for you all 🥰

We have just finished our bathroom on Saturday!! Was the last room in the house we had to renovate!!
It took us a lot longer to get stuff done due to money but I’m so excited to see the final result and love the progress you are doing.
Just remember it’s only temporary, next year you’ll be thinking how did you do it all! You’re smashing it! Xx

just an idea: in the downstairs guest bedroom you could do it as a playroom/ guest room with a sofa bed

Ah going great guys, currently doing out forever home up, main bedroom, eu suite, family bathroom and 2 bedrooms down, driveway done, new front windows and front door and garage and office done, been here just over a year, also 21 weeks pregnant. I live interiors Imogen, I feel like that’s the fun bit you get to do after all the boring messy work. Also I live colour (really don’t like greys) hope you get the rooms how you want in the end c

When i first moved in a house i bought loads of white furniture (ikea and argos) and add accessories for a pop of colour and swap bits now and then when i change my mind, i can never pick my mind 😂😂 xxx

I’ve just bought a house and feel the same as you! I want nice things but don’t want to spend a fortune, I’ve found somethings you can get cheaper versions of however others you just have to bite the bullet and spend a bit more for quality. Though saying that there are so many cost effective options, so it’s definitely preference. One top tip would be try and buy your dining room table on Etsy, such better value for money and usually they are handmade. X

Hi Imogen I felt the exact same with you on not knowing how to do interior design and everyone else bossing it. Basically I go by now you either do an all light so walls and furniture etc room or all dark room. And I don't just mean black and white in colours but you can get creative and have fun with it. Try and keep the all light or dark theme throughout house. Hope this helps and makes sense
