i had pioneer released versions os R, S, and Super S on VHS and i cant find any part of them ANYWHERE online. they were dubbed exactly the same but the music was totally different. it's killing me
I remember that I had just finished my seventh year and I would watch the Galaxy Trio, or Birdman or the Herculoids, then one day 1 June 1998 Sailor Moon came on as a surprise messing my shows 🤔 but anyways I watched Sailor Moon anyways, without loosing my new Academic year nor the summer aaaah 24 years have gone by
this dub would have been wonderful if they didnt try to go out of their way to censor and replace everything i mean they had the rights to the show at the time, no?
@@tetsuyatsurugi9250 Pioneer actually oversaw the Tenchi Muyo dub themselves. They financed the dubs for the Sailor Moon movies but they left the dubbing to Optimum Productions the same company that did the dubbing for DiC and Cloverway that’s why it still has valley girl dialog out the ass
The movies were completely uncut though. The DVD versions anyways which this clip came from. There was no cousins or gender bender characters or visual edits in the movies
You want a fun Fact This dub was made by Pioneer who made a godlike dub of Tenchi Universe ( Petrea is the one and only Ryoko ) . How could this be that Pioneer did such a trash after godlike dubs of Tenchi and El Hazard
Pioneer had a hand behind the scenes with Tenchi Muyo and its spin-offs. They only financed and distributed the Sailor Moon movies. They were still dubbed by the same studio that did the show.
I'm saying it DiC's voice cast wasn't all bad. And it looks great with the original ost.
I love the DiC dub. It wasn’t perfect but I love how distinctive their voices were

Does Pioneer dub? cause if they did and Cartoon Network wasnt in a rush for sailor moon, we couldve had all the dic actresses back

Paintra DX it was in the 90's and people back then we're to sensitive to do that thing
The random player but St the same 90s the same company ( Pioneer) did a godlike dub of Tenchi Muyo series especially Universe.

WOW! They actually used the DiC voices instead of the CWi ones. The CWi ones were just awful. Especially Amy's and Serena's! -_-
