Very interesting - so a script that was rejected by the entire industry, not only was made, it made it big. Decades later as we know, Farhan Akhtar did a remake of it with SRK, which turned out to be a hit as well. Interestingly enough, in the remake also they chose to keep that one song due to which the original had become a hit.
Rahoulji a real facts you put forward about late Nariman Irani. Let me add one thing that Pransaab also contributed for Iranijee. Pransaab was having cordial relations with Nariman Irani family. For his role he took very nominal remuneration.
