Smart man, learn to separate the business from personal. I agree if I was a watch dealer I would be in love with all the watches that passed through my hands. But I think that would make you an even better salesperson due to your love for the watches.

Roman you are very discipline to be a watch dealer and not to have a big watch collection. I like your blue dial chronograph Audemars Piguet. I like the Patek 5167 on a bracelet and not on a strap. I also like the watch roll.

5167 Patek bracelet is a car wreck. Jesus. It's like a bracelet you see on a Fossil watch at Macy's. The rest of the collection is grade A prime choice.

I have a friend that has the same AP Royal Oak Chronograph that Roman is wearing. Absolute beauty of a watch, and when the sun light hits it, it just looks unbelievable😻.
Yessir, most honest comment from a watch dealer ever, no.1 reason to own expensive pieces is just flexing. Movement, craftsmanship, history is a lie we tell ourselves to justify our purchase, im not rich myself but i sure hope to own a gmt one day, at retail of course. A guy can dream right?

RS thanks for sharing, I don't sell watches, so I have a huge collection (most people would say its an addiction not a collection that I have spread across three continents now), I buy & sell businesses...but the theory of not getting emotionally attached is the same. Thanks for sharing what in your safe with us. Same rule applies in my family, about my daughters & wife watches the only difference is that they were once mine but I am not allowed near them anymore.

Always look forward to Tuesdays and Thursdays! I flip as a hobby. The only downside that's bitten me is I now look at what can I buy it for and what can I sell it for. I feel I've been tainted by the all mighty dollar rather than actually wear what I like. Don't get me wrong, it's gotten me some really cool pieces. Trouble is there is no more sentimental value for me. I still appreciate whatever is on my wrist though.
I always tried not to loose site of the the product myself, but sometimes the mighty dollar does take over as well

Thanks for sharing your collection , I am a collector and not a watch dealer but totally get what you are saying about selling your watches for the right price . If someone offered me a good enough deal i would sell all of mine . None have any sentimental value and i can always buy them again .

Hi Roman, great to see you personal collection, but you should get a watch box, it shows them off nicer I think. Totally agree on the bracelet it’s so 80’s this type, much much prefer the rubber band or leather band.

@@RomanSharf I'm looking for a 36mm day date with an after market 2-2.5ct bezel and a diamond dial that isn't champagne (open to suggestions for colors). Is that something you have or can get? I'm tired of seeing bullshit descriptions of watches that say 1980-2000 circa. I just want to buy a watch that's what it's supposed to be and in excellent condition.

Was thinking WTH, Roman has a Piaget Polo S? Then you showed it was an Aquanaut & yeah, that bracelet seriously messes up the look. Appears really thick, non-tapered, and heavy; a C-minus is being kind. Like you I *love* the Aquanaut on the standard rubber deployant.

What is a good starter watch for a person who doesn’t have a lot of money I make 15 bucks an hour I work part time working with people with mental illness I don’t have a lot of money I know I can never own a Rolex but what’s a watch that I can get for a couple hundred dollars that looks good Omega or Nixon Are those good watches to start off with?
I got to ask, how big is the iced out market really? There seems to be an abundance of inventory yet I hear about hot pieces all the time. Is there really that many people buying them?

Roman Sharf just a quick question, i am looking for something to keep my watches in and was considering one of those peli boxes but a roll may be more practical for me, my enquiry is, does keeping your watches in a roll encourage scratches where the backs of the straps rub together including the case back etc ? appreciate your time if you get a spare moment. cheers

@@suncity22001 there is a cover that goes over the backs where the buckles are, downside is that you cant really use it for bracelet models were the bracelet does not fold flat (like (AP), upside you can pick up a cool one pretty cheap

I noticed on your chronographs the dials were not at zero and on one the hand was sweeping. Do you typically run the chrono when you wear them to get that hand sweeping look? I like chronos but I like a sweeping hand on an automatic better.
i wholeheartedly agree, the 5167 looks hideous on the bracelet.. most patek bracelets are hideous, other than nautilus ones. lol

Awesome and complete collection! the Tudor snow flake is a stunner & the Blancpain is a very special too! AP & PP are just so great looking and you've got all the bases covered.. Now lets talk about the safe, Roman you've worked your ass off and taken many risk in the last 20 years so I feel that you should enjoy any watch in the company safe, just a great way to advertise the business on a daily basis..

Never expected a person like you to have a bumblebee maybe a limited edition offshore. Very unique 42mm carbon case with ceramic bezel it should’ve been limited edition.

really nice watches.. I seem to have similar taste. Regarding the 5167, it would be cool to see if Patek could somehow create a bracelet that mimics the look of the rubber strap somehow. To me the Aquanaut rubber strap is the best looking rubber strap design I can think of.

Depending on condition and the serial letter from 8-9.5
@11.58 that Red Submariner, is it a Mark V dial? I can't see if it's an "open 6" or "closed 6"
And I agree with your opinion of the Aquanaut's bracelet, doesn't suit the watch and looks cheap.
