I would consider that 10% loss as the contract cost that someone else got paid to deliver your product.
The best way is to let the sugar mill or bread for example fill up the outgoing warehouse section to nearly 180k and deactivate production just long enough to switch it to selling, turn it back on and it will all sell at once without any pallets slipping through to the outside storage.
Then right after it sells do the same thing and put it back on distributing, this way you can have best of both worlds without pallets spawning using the internal storages of the facilities to buy yourself time untill prices are the best.
You may be able to overlap the egg output with the dairy input using the B free place mode and have them "automatically" get pulled into the dairy.
Not my style but sure.
You can overlap your sell points with the spawn point of your production( using the b button) and it will sell soon as it spwans. You will have to ride out the dips of the sell prices mind.
I believe distribution will send more product to a facility with higher storage. The dairy can store more sugar than the bakery I believe, so it received more product.
oh that might be the case. usually i Ronco it. Set it and forget it.
I love productions, but they can get over whelming sometimes, the auto sell feature is nice, I'll gladly take the hit if I'm busy doing something else.
For some reason I was thinking it was a 60% hit to set to selling. 10% isn’t too bad.
That's what I was seeing, my test save is using easy economy not sure if there is other math for the other economy modes.
I remembered when you told me about it. There was a mod called "Select Distribution Target". I hope it will be converted for fs25 as soon as possible. Also, how do we add chocolate cake to the bakery?
Thats what cakes look like in 25. Everything you see in these videos are base game no mods, no changes to base gameplay.
@@FarmerKlein I understand that. Well, I see some modes that add "new product". If you know, can you teach this process with a video, for example, when adding "chocolate cake" to an oven?
or when adding "pasta" in a "flour mill"...
It's weird how we play a farming game for the easy going chill factor compared to most games and then spend all your time obsessed with time is money mentality.
not really my style but for some its how to squeeze every penny out of something. In my own play I set it to sell and be done with it. Free me up to do other things like fishing on the lake.
Do products distribute to productions that I don’t own? We play multiplayer so there could be more than one of a production type on the map.
I do not do much group MP so I am unsure if it will send to productions of contractor's or not.
Like your video and all of your mod
Question about distributing. It seems to share to all availibe production is there a way to change this? Ie flour is sent to bakery and canning factory. So i now have 40k flour sat in canning doing nothing as i wasnt intending making noodle soup.
Not as part of the base game. As outlined in the video it distributes to any production which takes that output downline as an input that you own so one way to not have it do this would be to make sure you only own a single down line production for an output you wish to distribute. Or get to work making noodle soup.
I've been using the small bakery, and it never spawns a pallet for cake, once it meets the max 1000L mark. Is this a bug?
Another issue with it, is the limit for the inputs on some of the products. They are set to 500L so if you purchase a pallet of sugar for example, from the warehouse, when you drop it into the small bakery you lose half of the produce!
Any chance you can do some testing on the small bakery to confirm this?
I have the small bakery but only use it for bread on my live stream save. and yes if you put more in than it will hold it will just take it and no credit given. Not sure if that was fixed with 1.3 if not report it using feedback.giants-software.com
This is correct. MrSealyP mentioned this so I tested it myself. I'm guessing this is a bug and hopefully Giant will fix it. They simply have to change the storage to 1000l not 500l.
@@hedcase Thanks for the reply.
Would probably be best to change to 2000l, otherwise you would need to wait for it to completely run out before restocking.
Or better still just take what is needed from the pallet, leaving a partial pallet that can be sold or reused later.
7:38 wouldnt you just stop the operation that requires sugar for example if you want it all to go to the bakery then surely it wont just be storing sugar if you have stopped it
The game does not care if your acutally using the input it sends to the production if there is room for it then it will send it there assuming you own the prodution.
