For the record, Great Stuff spray foam is what should've been used here to make the toxic waste; it created the perfect texture for that sort of thing, and you also just spread it with your gloved hands to get a flatter, more subdued effect as well.

Yes and no. The toxic waste theme would definitely play into a Part 8 mask, but I believe in the movie it was just green water and a melted mask at the end (correct me if I'm wrong), no OOZE. So I went a different route and did my own thing. I am interested in trying to make that melted mask from the end of Part 8 though.

I love the look of this one! I think I’m going to make one that puts my own spin on a type of combination of this one and the underwater one you made and use it as part of my Halloween costume this year. In my mind, it’ll be his mask in a hypothetical situation: if some months or a year after the events of Part 8, Jason somehow morphed back into his adult self and emerged from the sewers of Manhattan, finding his damaged mask and taking it with him, stalking the sewers and streets of NYC for a while, and eventually deciding to travel back to Crystal Lake on foot over a lengthy period of time, leaving a trail of bodies and crazy stories along the way (including his first encounters with Creighton Duke), eventually leading up the the events of Part 9 some years later.

What if you made one that looked something you could find at a summer camp because my scout friends and I like playing a game at night called Jason and it’s basically tag but if you get tagged by Jason then your dead and you have to go to a spot with more light. I just thought it would be cool to have a Jason mask for that with a custom design
