If you'd like a look at our Virtual evensong... have a look at St James the Greater Leicester Virtual Evensong 10 May. We sing the Howells Coll Reg as well as a good dollop of Balfour Gardiner. Do have a look if you get chance.
Dear Daniel, I have been hugely inspired by your daily offerings. The Jongen is a piece I didn't know and now I LOVE IT! I too have a Hauptwerk instrument (using Hereford) and have just recorded the Cocker Tuba tune. It was a new learn this last couple of weeks, and I have to honestly say it is a piece which I found tricky and 'noodley' (is that how you spell it) at first. Particularly just after the octaves where you get a dose of sharps! I'd love to pick your brains (plural - because judging by the standards you reach you have about 10 of them) if I may on how you record your video footage. I am currently DoM at St James the Greater in Leicester, and we are about to record our third full evensong for St James day in July. For my voluntary in the second... I used an Ipad and it was a bit rubbish! Could you help....
Only a Willis tuba does this piece justice - and an organist who knows exactly what Cocker had in mind! Wonderful!
Wish you had the Durham samples on it. Brilliant playing Daniel
Epic, Makes me want to build a Hauptwerk instrument more and more.
Bravo Maestro. A fantastic piece
Fantastic piece! Definitely not an easy one to play but you made it look like a breeze.
Great stuff, my Geoffrey loved this and he played it to me not long after we met, I was a very impressed 18 year old ! Deborah :)

Great performance. Surprising you don't show more pedalling. Lots going on down there, like a trio sonata in terms of independent parts!
It’s a bit good
