You took a big gamble filming where there were signs saying you couldn’t film but as previous comments have said, the manager handled it very professionally as you acknowledged and there were no kick offs or any need to go calling the police like some do etc etc

I know it's unlikely but if it happened it could bankrupt you. It's cheap too. I have it and also insure my drone for loss, flyaways etc. Costs me around £150 a year with £2M of liability cover.

Son came out the door laughing his arse off as the Service Manager who interviewed him actually told him (in the interview) that he'd "never have time off as this junk is always going wrong". I like the auditing videos but i think the manager done his job by respecting the rules his company have set out. He was also polite and respectful to you and has every right to ask you to leave private property. He did state you can film outside which is obviously your legal right. Fair bloke i say every credit to him acting the way he did good representative of the company. The lady at the desk didn’t approve of what you were doing, she could have refrained from interacting with you rather than biting back but were all human in the heat of the moment. She did walk away and get her superior rather quickly once she probably thought better of having a row which is the better thing to do taking into account she is front of house and likely doesn’t get put in these types of situations very often. You left without any issues so credit where its due to you aswell.

The camera opeartor is harmless, but if it attracts the wrong kind of attention you never know who could see her and later start calling the workplace or even coming in to visit. That can make people feel uneasy and in extremely rare cases could be dangerous
