not entirely, if the 20sma rise is elongated and the 20 is far from the 200sma you need to be prepared for a reversal.....breathing in and breathing out concept. You then look for topping tails and red elephants taking out green elephants (Bear 180 play)
Vwap is another marker. I know Oliver doesn't put much weight on it (pun, pun) but I've seen lines reach for and turn on it repeatedly along with the 20 and 200.

Thanks for the video but I have 2 main issues: 1. Your video is showing clear trends. I’ve found that stocks trend around 20% of the time. I struggle when the price moves back and forth across 20sma. That’s definitely the case most of the time with futures or SPY/QQQ and in real time, sometimes it’s not obvious when they will trend. 2. Different timeframes sometimes conflict with each other and it becomes confusing what to do. What to do if for example, a 2 min chart is trending over the 20SMA, but on a 5 min chart it’s under the 20SMA?
This is all facts.. I have been using the 9 12 and 20 ema for the last 3 weeks. It is crazy how it can read the market. Once the 9 and 12 ema is above the 20
3,8 and 20 work as well. I think all roads end in same destination with these sma. It is some of the other techniques Boss is giving you that makes the difference. Ie enter when both sma are close together etc.

And what time frames are best with the 20 EMA? I was using RSI but later realized that RSI can stay in an overbought or oversold position longer and SPY would usually chop around to cool off RSI without any significant moves in either direction!☹
I tested this big bar in favor of the 20 moving average which precisely indicates the trend but most of my income goes to Lost and I have a tp. of 1:1.5 or 1.25, I specify that I enter at the close of the large strength candle which is still opening very close to the average 20, it doesn't work most of the time TF 15min on Forex I also entered average 200 to have further certainty of being on the right part, so either something is missing or | the usual lie between 90.00am and 5pm!
Im in a group, I see guys using ma8, ma10, ma50, ma100 and they all say thats where the price bounces. Somethings got to give Oliver. How do you know who is right, has that been tested.

I’m confused you say One bar stop but don’t worry about changing colors in the direction of the 20 MA

I'd say it's too wide when you start to lose. Otherwise ride the tide.

The charts are fractal. Which means they work the same on all time frames.
But they use 2 minute.
