6:47 back in the day this was known as seiryuu death fist..this sh*t split ur screen into three. I was amazed by that tech as a kid and yeah dat thing hurt af.
Bruh I remember in the OG game Ludgar used it and wiped my party. My twin and I sat there in awe of what we just saw in complete silence while the game over theme played. 😂
Honestly, I think I like Divine Fist the best. It has versatility and more power than Warrior Monk. Enlightened and Fatal Fist have more power, but they have little to nothing to contribute to supporting a team.
Michael 590 Divine Fist (God Hand) was considered maybe the best all around pick for Kevin in the original, and it’s no slouch in this game either. However, a heavy contributor to that was that the original Byakko Shockwave couldn’t miss hitting every onscreen enemy. This one misses quite often I’m afraid so it kind of makes the extremely high CS generation go to waste. Also Aura Wave was nerfed to make you gather CS faster when it used to just fill someone up to level 3 (old max). Also, the old color scheme for God Hand was more cool. The strengths that remain are Pressure Point being a nice attack up buff for any fight; Spin Kick a great AoE class strike at level 2 - continue to use it over level 3; and he has a heal. My first play through had Charlotte in the party and I still went this path without regrets. Kevin’s dark classes run away with, hands down, the best level 3 techs and level 4 techs in the game. All have good or great activations, superior aoe, and expansive hitboxes unmatched in reasonable play. You will get consistent and high damage from them where Byakko Shockwave can easily miss multiple enemies. Also, now that critical hits are fixed, Moon Energy isn’t as useless (it may still be sort of weak). Wood Saber in light path isn’t as good since MP flows more freely this game.
@@EbonySeraphim Well, Aura Wave still helps your teammates gather more CS crystals so it can still help. Also, I was thinking of using Edelfrei, Fenrir Knight, and Divine Fist to make a top-level physical party with great synergy. I like to have power and variety when choosing characters so things don't become boring.
Ahaha cheers! I was about to write one but there will be many mixed viewpoints. Overall for Kevin, (D, L) was my favourite because of the 10-seconds of invulnerability at the start of combat passive and moon sabres for life steal. The AOE class skill is the same as the (L, L). (D, D) gets a crit% buff skill but yeah the 10 second invulnerability was a bit broken in the (L, D) for mob clearing (You don't even get knocked back or hurt during this time). You can't go wrong with either (L, L) or (L, D) for Kevin but I prefer (L, D) because of the multi-target healing capability.
Kevin, having beast blood in his genetics transforms at night into a werewolf during combat regardless of any path, he reverts back or stays in his original form during the day.
King Furbs If by ability you mean skills and abilities obtained by levelling his stats, unfortunately there’s none that give bonus during the day and night. Overall Kevin is still a more superior being ;) at night and his day form is slightly inferior but not so far behind.
I went with Annihilator during my first playthrough before testing all the other classes. I chose the Enlightened route because 10second invulnerability passive at the start of battles was overpowered. You have plenty of time to break shields during this period and also moon sabres (Lifesteal buff).
Overall for Kevin in the dark tree, (D, L) was my favourite because of the 10-seconds of invulnerability at the start of combat passive and moon sabres for life steal. The AOE class skill is the same as the (L, L). (D, D) gets a crit% buff skill but yeah the 10-second invulnerability was a bit broken in the (D, L) for mob clearing in comparison to what he got instead (You don't even get knocked back or hurt during this time).
DL DD? I have Dark In start and probably not change In light but In bosses that 10 sec not are utils,... mmm but in for cleanings yes... Don’t know general DD not IS best, for moment i cant evolved because havent item ??? Need and not stop find,. Where drop? Treasure, sure combat too? Thzs for all ^^
@@oscar8736 10 second invulnerability is enough time for you to cast moon sabres on yourself and another team mate that is melee. Moon sabres make you immortal and impossible to die because your 15% lifesteal output is too high. With the right gear (including mana bracelet which makes you immune to all status effects) Unless you stop attacking the boss you should be able to sustain and tank/sustain the damage due to life steal. Also moon sabres work with class abilities (pretty much if you're in trouble just cast your class ability for invulnerability during the animation or life steal, it's like free heals for that character. I was equipping the Class 1 beginner weapon with no skills equiped in the making of this video (all default items hence why the damage is so low), otherwise the damage would be a lot higher with Kevins best weapons and crit damage + all buffs equipped which it wasn't in this case ^__^
Ruan1387 I think the two fit reasonably fine on the same team even better now that magic doesn’t pause melee action. First game and first NG+ had both of them. Duran is the better active party member if the focus is buffing Kevin :)
There is nothing, and i mean NOTHING, more iconic than the sound of a Kamehameha destroying every atom in its path while it flies towards you.

Yeap, I still remember that name all these years. And I especially hated it when enemy used it or a similar move, lol, it wasn't fun at all

Sorry, this is a Final flash, not Kamehameha. Okay, maybe Final Kamehameha, I'll give you that.

Michael 590 well it is Light versus Dark.
@@pn2294 Yeah, but I heavily favour dark classes, so Divine Fist is one of the exceptions for me.
Dang, dark kev got a lot of awesome techs
Hell yeah, he was my highest damage dealer
he is a beast (pun intended) I was clearing everything as a death hand..... at lvl 60 to 70. Even during the day lvl 3 attack is insanely powerful.
thats more of a final flash than a kamehameha
What abilities do you have for Kevin? I'm D/D atm thinking of going L/D since my Duran (D/L) is main DPS atm. Other person is Angela (D/L)
it's more Final Flash than Kamehameha.
By the way, I liked reading your opinions on duran's classes. Shame there are none for kevin xD

@@VikDUH nice, thanks
Not to be "that asshole," but would that not be more like Final Flash?
Are their anything that changes except for the super ?
Like training points granting different moves ?
Of course. That's the case for every class.
which path do you need to take to get ability to transform during day
Kevin, having beast blood in his genetics transforms at night into a werewolf during combat regardless of any path, he reverts back or stays in his original form during the day.
@@VikDUH oh I heard on some video cant remember which one i watched that you can get an ability to allow day transformations
I haven't tried it myself yet, but if I remember well, it's Divine fist (LL), with the unlockable skill Pressure point
no throws? that's a bummer : (
well it was a bit annoying since it was random but was great to pile driver a mob for 999 dmg xD
I was expecting an input to choose to perform either regular attack or grapple/throw. Not them straight away removing them.
fatal fist looks like fist of the north star
OK I change my mind Kevin is awesome
Is there an ability to have him do damage during day in regular form like werewolf?
King Furbs If by ability you mean skills and abilities obtained by levelling his stats, unfortunately there’s none that give bonus during the day and night. Overall Kevin is still a more superior being ;) at night and his day form is slightly inferior but not so far behind.

Only a buff exclusive to his Light path: Pressure Point

Can you max out all skill trees at level 99?
Yes INT/AGI/STR/SPIRIT/LUK/DEF All points you can allocate in them will max out at level 99
More like Final Flash.
Hey man, what is the skill Energy ball do for fatal fist class?
Increases your critical rate, don't know by how much
How do you change clases ?
Wait does he not have his Grapple skills?
Only in the original but unfortunately they didn't include any grapple skills in the remake.
