A good dissuasive power against middle game tribes Tame Gigas and Rex.

What do you think of the kaprosuchus, I find it really useful for taming because you pick a lot of dinos and even small sea dinos like dolphins and mantas which makes taming an absolute breeze! Great video!

Quetz - Carryall For building this is the go to group of dinos for me, never have to worry about thatch, wood, stone, crystal, metal, oil, berries, obsidian, or transportation.
I know this video was made before the update I'm talking about, but the iguanadon would be fairly high on my list. he has fairly decent damage and fairly decent speed, but the serious selling point has to be the infinite stamina while running on all fours, you can easily out run just about everything on the island with one of those guys. I suppose the iguanadon wouldn't be that useful once you get a flying dino or a rex, but I tamed a level forty the second I was able to and I was killing carnos with it, and I feel like I might have even been able to kill a low level rex if I had put a few more points into damage. he might actually be a little bit too good for a level fifteen saddle

Watched both of your Most Useful creatures and you have completely glossed over the Therizinosaurus. By far THE most useful Dino. Hard, slow tame but it can gather Wood faster than the beaver, Fiber faster than a Megaloceros, and meat/hide/fish/chitin/keratin better than most any other dino to include a Rex. They can also peck the bushes and gather berries at a better rate than any dino other than the Bronto. Plus they have massive defense and damage stats making the Therizin an awesome all arounder survival dino
I think the reason why you prefer the mammoth is because you are palying on a server with higher over all recource yield I used to paly on servers with about 5x like you do and back then I prefered the mammoth too but on rates like 2x it feels way too grindy with anything but a bronto for me .
however i think for my top 5 it would be vastly different. 5 would be bronto 4 would be quetz 3 would be achatina(snail 2 would be the therizino *sorry if i butchered that* and 1 would be for pvp in general the troodon.
I think wyverns are one of the best exploring pets since if you get a lightning one, well, point is I killed a Gigant and a rex with ease and not many things can do that

if you are on the island, they are everyhwere, from snow to redwood, entire map almost filled with em on the center they are literally everywhere, whereevr you spawn they are there
Yeah I found some, but carnos got most of them.... on the bright side I found an insane spot for a big ass base, some kind of oasis up north on the island. There's even a couple of beavers in that lake too!... This game is just so amazing on a single player world. I can't wait to explore the other two maps!
Louis Kish frogs are incredibly useful, they don't lose Stam or oxy underwater and are faster than anything underwater. Pump weight and you can clear the map in pearls and oil in about an hour

the frog doesn't belong in the list. He's clunky to use, can't attack underwater and has long been replaced in terms of cementing paste gathering efficiency by beaver dam raids. It only seems viable here because of the increased gathering x5. He's funny as shit, but a beaver is much more useful.
The center map Redwood forest, start searching from the far end of the map/far left when coming from the skull island and go towards the middle, oyu will find it after 3 mins of flight
depends, in vanilla Sabertooths are better than wolfs because you can do cave explorations much safer than with a dire wolf because of the armor, even thou the wolfs are buffed on the damage they take sabers are better

What structures were you thinking? I do know that you can pick up the auto turret after it has been placed to adjust it.

So if u Play on Harvest x1the beaver dam Gives same amount of cementing paste as ( for example) x200?
I found no difference between x1 and x5 gathering so I'm pretty sure that it's completely independent from the harvest rate.
