- We went through our footage for the past year and came up with the top 12 silliest big cats and small cats of Big Cat Rescue.

Try some catnip, a wand toy, or a laser pointer. Kitteh might sleep 18 hours a day, but when they play, they *play*. Don't let your cat get bored, play with it daily!

I now have 8 that's right 8 cats! On a recent visit to the shelter my daughter and I saw one cat who seemed very sad and withdrawn. The shelter had her for 3 weeks and with very few interested in adopting her as she is an older cat with a grade 2 heart murmur. In spite of all because I am such a softy I gave in after our third visit and Pia is now a new addition to our family of cats. She is less withdrawn now but she is coming around and has started to interact with the rest of the family. She is a real sweety!

paul alexander Do u mean big cats? I hope u keep them in enclosures far bigger than these ones, in fact to have eight (assuming their big cats) you must have an enormous property, yes? I find it abhorrent that people keep exotic animals in cages and treat them like a domestic pet! Extremely selfish and stupid, is what it is!

@fudgelame Yep. Music on animal videos is such a drag. Cuts out the natural sounds of the animal and it's environment. Wish there were an "off" switch.
Even worse when there's no sound at all anymore because they had to mute the music...
I love how even the biggest fiercest cats are just as crazy/silly as my crazy/silly cat at home! And they jump in and out of boxes EXACTLY the same as him!
I do so love these big guys. Thanks for sharing their lives and for giving them the carefree life they deserve.

Our big cats get enrichment everyday because it is very important in the lives of captive animals.
Yes, I know. Unfortunately, not all captive wildlife get it though. So I just wanted to thank you for doing such a good job and making others aware of it. I used to work with captive lions and tigers. Then I went into volunteer work with wildlife. Retired now.
I’ve actually been to a Big Cat Rescue place down in FL. It was awesome and seeing all of the cats was great

Tigers and jaguars, unlike most cats, loves water and they enjoy swimming and bathing. They also hunts in water in the wild.

Keisha reminds me of my recently departed Sasha, he passed 14 months after his twin brother Misha was taken with kidney failure. Sasha was born with his stub and was the only way to distinguish the twins when they were kittens. Thank You for Your Wonderful Works

I love these videos! I wonder if Big Cats in captivity can indulge in more "play" activity, more "silly" because they lack the stresses of survival? No hunger, no threats? Do Cats in the wild display the same play-drive? Great job.
Years ago, I was camping - and taking down my camp site to leave. This mountain lion cub came down to my camp site and proceeded to try to play with EVERYTHING! It was about the end of July, and the cub acted about like a 3-month-old kitten.
How cute, nothing better than that!

It's always a joy to watch how healthy they are, how long they more often than not live and how that have a great time at BCR. Also I'll be forever amazed by the perfection of leopard's camouflage. If you walk in the wilderness right by one of them that is not moving you may not even notice it (but you can be sure YOU will be noticed).

It is no surprise that Jade and Armani are 1 and 2. They are all very funny and you take such good care of them.

This warms my heart. These cats are living their best lives now that they can’t return to the wild and have been mistreated in the past. Look at those happy boiis. Big Cat Rescue is an example to the world of how animals should be treated. Even in captivity.
