Got so used to the little Honda motor sound on Drain Addicts videos, now you’ve got what sounds like a diesel school bus running that jetter haha. Great video
@@sergeantsewer856 do you have to be really conscientious of the condition of the pipe before you shove that high pressure blast through it? Your username is sewer Guru that's why I asked. Thats a pretty good indicator that you know a lot about this stuff.
@@jiveturkey9993 of course you do... if pipes in bad condition your sewer hose will get stuck.. If it has a hole in it the jetter will find it.. Jetting is easier on pipe than snaking.. but a jetter nozzle is like a hammer when you smash it through fittings and traps
Hey Tom you have restored my faith in the Golden Nuggets Corn really pleased it's back on the menu lol. I had begun to think there was a world wide shortage and we would never see it again :) :) :) Poop on your boots and hat, it's a good job you cleaned it off I do not think your wife would have been too pleased to see you. :) :) :) Take care and stay safe. Not the most sanitary standards for sure. He reaches down and literally grabs feces covered Manhole cover then immediately reaches up to his camera. Wherever thats mounted. So disgusting... I guess you get desensitized??? I'm thankful for those that do this work for sure. I'm just not gonna shake hands.
No matter how careful, there's invisible mist that still gets through. I've been doing this for 10 years and get only mild colds if any. Rubber boots and wearing nitrile gloves under the work gloves helps. If I have to grab something just fling off thick rubber work gloves and nitrile gloves are still clean. If not, off they go and hands are all good.
Should have glued a 45 on end of a 2" PVC pipe and poke around till u find the outlet of manhole then running Jetter thru that. Would save a bunch of time and running back and forth. Good work guys. Keep the vids coming👍👍
I don't know how y'all do it...I give all y'all plumbers ALOT of credit. I lay new natural gas mains and we obviously do our best to stay away from any other buried services, but ESPECIALLY sewer lines.
In my area sewer pipe can only run in straight lines between manholes. So any time it turns at all from straight there is another manhole. And after a new sewer is installed the inspectors will run a mandrel through it to insure it was installed straight and without any bellies. We have a very expensive laser system that we use to install the sewer pipe laser straight and with perfect pitch. Usually the plastic sewer main comes in 13ft pieces with slip fit bells and rubber o'rings. It is very thick and rigid.
Biggest cause of stoppages is pouring grease down the drain and flushing wipes. The package says wipes are flushable, but they are not degradable. They get caught on imperfections and then just build up. Wipes devastate sewer systems. Last week we pulled about 50 pounds out water logged wipes out of manhole
That’s actually a really small jet truck compare to the ones the county/city uses on their 8-inch sewer mains. Their hose is twice as thick and the nozzle they use is the size of a grapefruit. Or they use an 8-inch saw instead of a nozzle, for cutting roots.
Measurements and differences on the drain and sewer pipes ...They just have to be underestimated in Size. It can't handle the capacity of rainwater and sewer-clog all in the same pipe out away from the 200+ square feet parking space. Later that floods the toilets back at it again as well eventually when it jams those pipes, Right? Or am I completely wrong here with my theory as I say.
Usually the storm and sewer are different systems. The storm is a lot bigger. For that lot maybe 8 or 10 inch. They may combine further down at an even larger main. Usually they run seperate especially in bigger cities so if there is too much rain they will redirect Storm somewhere other than the treatment plant so not to flood it out
Well hello stranger, glad to see another vid! Can't help but wonder how many gallons was holding and how long it was blocked! Really makes you think how solid that blockage was to hold that much pressure!
I worked at a Home Depot & one night was told a toilet was backed up. By the time it was unclogged, the reason was someone had attempted to flush a child's shitty underwear. What a mess!
Looking at this video... You need the type of jetter with quick connects Go check out Drain addict. He has that system... No threading things on and off
We use a 45. For the jetter and sniper we really don't need the pipe guide. We have 6ft fiberglass poles that can lock together and different heads.. shovel, claw, 90 fork even a grabber. We use the pvc for an electric eel and camera if manhole is too deep. The wires are too thin to push in from far up

They need a big 16V71 Series Detroit Diesel. 😉
Old supercharged 2 stroke Detroit diesel. Lol
It's a hatz or duetz.. 4 cyl engine about 60-70 hp

That Jetter makes Ollies look like a toy. Welcome back to your TH-cam friends.
I wouldn't dare to light down the cleanout with a phone - I'd definitely invest in a torch :)

I told him a while ago to get an olight lol he didn't listen
I had a little anxiety when he did that 😂😂😂
Olight makes the best lights for situations like these
Make sure it’s propane not butane.

Wife: "honey the toilet overflowed and the whole house smells like shit"
Hubby: "I dont smell nuthin"

"It may be shit to you... but it's our bread and butter"
I worked at a wastewater treatment plant and they always said "brown is green"
hahahahaha he said kernels everywhere lmao
I'm literally dying hahaha
It is so satisfying watching that crap go down
Hi, why did you put an iron adapter??? Привет, зачем железный переходник поставил???
@Gaming Pro I realized that I don't know English very well, so I asked again. thanks.
It stops the hose going up the cleanouts
Just curious why you did not use a skid on Jetter nozzle? Thinking it would have kept you from entering the clean out.
Yes, they're supposed to do that.
the anxiety i got when he held his phone over that hole.......
I was waiting for something to jump out, grab him & pull into its lair, ,

Was this the Norwich NY lowes
Lmao i was wheezing from laughter when he grabbed the corn off the ground
Got to salute to the kernels !

Huge clog. Great job jetting it out and cleaning up afterward!
For a second, I thought the ding I heard at the beginning of the video was a distant church bell, but it was just your manhole cover tool.

Yeeee 11ft of black gold yes I love it
Do we record the sf museum where we jetted till 1am
You should get two camera's for those kind of jobs
This exact is the exact same thing that happened at the store I work at a couple months ago
So how much water do you guys carry in the tank in/on your trailers?
Our reservoir tank can hold 300 gallons and runs at 14 gpm.
Is that at California Lowe’s?
No this is Patrick

Super. 💙 T.E.N.
Is Mr rooter your company? On the side of the vans
It’s a big business he might be the supervisor
Is it just me or at the end it still was clogged. I thought it's supposed to run freely down the pipe. That was not rolling freely.
Looks like the Lowe's up in Oxford. My brother lives in Sherburne.
Is that your van the red one?
Is Mr. Roto the new name for Royo-router ?

How does the ninga turtles fit in there
my heart stops for a split second every time you push the cover back over the man hole and it looks like it is about to fall in
Standing water in the bottom of the manhole isn't good near the end. Backpitch or sludge.

Those kernels of corn will do it every time, personally I think corn should be outlawed they are the Bain of sewer systems .
