I totally agree with the part that they are sooo HELPFUL! I am transferring to 2nd year pharmD this fall and my admissions counselor is literally THE BEST!! he helped through every single step and was always responding to every single question and he provided me with all the recourses I needed to have a smooth transfer!
I started going here fall 2022 ended up dropping out and spring semester and transferring. I feel like it’s a good school, but you need to be prepared to have no social life and to dedicate all of your time to your studies. It really made me rethink what I want to do in life and kind of make me feel like a failure to be honest made me super depressed .
Yes that’s my exact issue the studies are good but the student body is absolutely horrible and it’s very hard to have a social life. I wish i went to another school but I’ve gotten to a point where i’m like not gonna bother transferring. I mostly went here cause they gave me a shit ton of financial aid. I’m a pre med major and I wish i just went to a bigger public college.
MCPHS is one of my two top options but I didn't see neuroscience courses and I'm not sure about their research opportunities. In my other top option they have Neuroscience Research Intensive Track where you get to do research all 4 years on your own and then get to present at the Society of Neuroscience. I don't want to blind myself by the idea of going to Boston and choose the wrong school.
i had to drop out of high school for personal reasons so i will be pursuing my GED, and was wondering if they would accept me because i noticed they had a very high acceptance rate
I’m unsure but I think they will it also depends on the program ur applying to but I feel like the GED is substantial enough and make sure u write a good personal statement I also applied early decision cuz I knew this is the only school I wanted to go to
How easy is it to get into the classes that you want/need for your degree? I am at a school which has taken on more science majors than they can support so I have to fight tooth and nail for my required classes even as a junior. What are class averages like? In almost all of my science courses there is always a discussion on how the majority of students are barely passing or not even passing. While I don't mind classes being difficult I do not understand why every class at my school is always stressed about getting a passing grade on core classes which aren't even super upper level.
Classes are easy to get into as long as you contact your academic coach and preregister for classes but you can even add the class during add/drop so I would say it’s very easy. Some majors the classes are already predetermined for you and you only pick electives depends on the major. Something to ask the program director you want to get into. Average class sizes are 20-30 students and almost everyone passes cuz most ppl are hardworking.

I love the professors and staff at MCPHS they’re all really nice :)
Ty for making those video ! I’m still debating about transferring here or not
Ofc glad I could help
Does MCPHs accept transfer students? I'm currently taking nursing prerequisites at a community college and am considering transferring.
It does but sometimes your credits don’t do you have to check with the school even tho like most of the time they do accept credits.
Thank you!! I’m thinking of going here but for nursing so it might different. However the video helped me a little more with my decision
What did you decide?
Thank you for making this video!!

hii i was wondering if i had to take biology in high school in order to be accepted into this school?
Its best to do biology in highschool if youre going to do anything medical or science related
Can you study a PharmD online from wherever you are in the world ?
I believe it has to be in person but you can check out the MCPHS website for more
Do not go to the Woecerte campus unless you want to spend a lot of money(SCAMMED)
