Before You Go See This Video. Comprehensive Travel Guide. Now free to view on TH-cam. Our route starts at the border with South Africa and takes us to the northern part of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve (Deception Valley), from where we travel on to Maun - the Gateway to the Okavango Delta. We then headed north to Moremi, on to Savute, Linyanti and Ihaha in the beautiful Chobe National Park. We end our adventure in the town of Kasane in the North Eastern side of Botswana close to the magnificent Victoria Water Falls. Topics featured are National Parks, relevant towns, hotels and lodges, camping sites, road conditions and useful tips regarding your adventure. Since Africa has opened up for Tourist, many 4X4 owners and nature lovers are planning to visit various destinations offered by countries north of the Limpopo. The most popular destination is Botswana, without a doubt one of Africa’s last real bastions of game. A land of contrasts - from the harsh beauty of Central Kalahari to the lush woodlands of the Okavango Delta. Adventure Films recognized the need of many 4X4 owners for more information regarding this beautiful country. The adventurers who want to arrange their own 4X4 safari to Botswana are sometimes skeptical of going, due to the lack of information available regarding facilities, accommodation, road conditions and many more. For this reason, the video “The Botswana Adventure” was produced. The video is not a wildlife film. The purpose of this production is to inform potential visitors to Botswana about relative aspects that could assist them in planning their 4X4 adventure.
Produced by John Swanepoel. Adventure Films.
You make excellent guides, thank you.
Wow.. what a nice video.. I truly learned a lot.
very nice
Great video sir. Ty for sharing your knowledge and adventure
Great video, if you traveling to bots, worth a watch
Yes indeed!! Stunning and insightful video... Richard, I drove a Nissan Safari with a 4 speed box and sadly very thirsty!
Baie mooi Dankie ....
Nice video
From experience the excess of Jerry cans is the the Diesel fuel is very bad in Botswana that can clog and stop your engine , so many trackers bring double the fuel with them....
Great video Very useful for planning a trip. Thanks.
Thanks for posting this video now I asked my dad can we go to Botswana and my dad said yes 😀😀😀👍🏻 and we are going in 6 days 😆
Awesome! We were there in June for three weeks and loved it! We're going back in 2019:)
I'm so glad I could help. Enjoy your trip. Give your dad a Bells.
zizzinpuss is it possible to drive in the okavango in june ?
@@MyAfricaSafari when was this video taken please?
This is a great video. Just one question. Was it necessary to have so many jerry cans? Did they all contain fuel?
Richard Horn we went in a Suzuki Jimny, we only had 2 Jerry cans but only used rarely, I would advise no less than 2
Thanks Craig. Always glad to hear feedback from a fellow Jimny owner.
Richard Horn Ja that Jimny was a champion in Botswana, never got stuck once... would suggest putting some good shocks on though we put amada xtremes on other than that no hassles
Richard Horn --- the Diesel is very bad in Botswana it can clog your engine and stop you journey....bring as much Jerry Cans as you can.... lol
When in the year was this - by month ? Feb, Mar or April is my guess.
this was filmed in the Late 90's looking at the cars, probably between 1995 and 1997/8, 90% of cars on this video are probably dead by now
What kind of vehicle were you driving? I couldn't see any obvious insignias or markings on the truck. It almost looks like an Isuzu Trooper from the U.S.
You didn’t recognise the Land Rover or the Toyota ? Wow..
@@WildlifeObsessed no, I clearly didn't and thank you for demonstrating your obvious, STELLAR intelligence. Just a simple make & model would have been sufficient.
