I'm glad Jeb got what he deserved. He has no business being rude towards Irma and the beautiful pregnant young lady. Also the investor decided to cut him off from the $3 million dollar deal because of his nasty behavior.
Kind of reminds me of a story I heard years ago. A film crew were riding with cops for a documentary or something. The turn up to a mugging, the victim was an old lady. She told the cops that she wasn't pressing charges, that her grandson would deal with it. The film crew overheard the cops telling the mugger that it was up to them, but her grandson was the biggest "suspected" mob boss in town, and they would live longer in custody than on the street. Beware the little old lady, she may have friends in very low places.
I've always instilled in my children to be nice and respectful toward everyone no matter color, race, social status, senior citizens, veterans or the poor and homeless. It's doesn't cost anything to be nice to people. Aa a result of this my children are the most respectful young people I've seen. They make papa very proud.
I wonder how many lives Irma's kindness touched, and sometimes literally saved. A beautiful character. Glad she got to benefit. The actress was perfect and made this a great video.
Always like the look on the bully's face 'Jeb' when he realised that Mr Durand meant what he said. I liked the way Mr Durand sternly spoke to this ignorant loser.
We all love a story, that results in compassionate justice. Even if this happens rarely in real life, it lifts our hearts to see it only as fiction and perhaps will make someone think again when confronted with an injustice, where they may be able to perform some kind of intervention to help a beleaguered individual. How can someone being rude to the senior citizen woman who happens to be a cashier? Thinking she's deaf was just as bad as pouring the drink at her. Getting chummy with the manager , and being horrible to the customer who was a pregnant woman will land this customer in jail for harassment. The psycho has to face jail time!!
I seen this behavior in the 70's. I was younger in my early 20's at a College Campus food service, and the bosses treated one of the workers this way. She was so nice, and it was not her fault. Older workers often times are more reliable, fill in. understanding. This does not mean all are like this, but too often younger generation, care so little. think elders are Washed Up. Thank you for showing this movie clip . I am 75 in June and I still see it today. Young will not even wave a Hello, or say it. Do not hold the door open. Don't do any more than they half to when shoveling. OR care that their dog left a deposit in the flower bed. Their response is, "you should be happy my dog watered your garden" instead of a sorry we'll be more careful next time. THANKYOU Again
