Beauty reminds us that despite the pain and hardships in the world and our lives, that there is something more potent and more powerful, and if we can just keep our eyes on what is beautiful and good it will see us through.

I love that you use things that you love and that you find them in thrift and good will stores. I being at a different stage of my life ...OLD I find myself wanting to be surrounded by memories not just picture but thing I have saved forever Like this teaure that was my moms and I have never seen one like it it is not traditional.. also i saved my grandmothers soft boiled egg cup that sh used every day I have alot of things like that . this is what comforts me and I would like your recipes please !! I use moody colored hydrangea florals. Deeper toned glassware. I did not realize that you had a brick fireplace in your kitchen... LOVE IT! In our last house, we added a brick floor in the kitchen. Love your simple table. Wait till you see MY TABLE... LOTS OF STUFF:) I love our 1.3 acres..BUT it is so windy here. It is open fields, and everything seems to blow away. I have a tiny side porch. But half of the tiny porch ( on the non windy side) has my grill because the propane will blow out. So the other tiny half is decor. Lol, love your fall flowers on the porch and the ribbon on the cloche! Another sweet, relaxing, and encouraging video!
