I finally got a Popcorn machine and am excited to make my own J-Pop! I remember this from my Pilot Training days at Reese Air Force Base (89-08) and I was the J-Pop man on and off when I was a T-37 Instructor a few assignments later on. Brings back great Friday afternoon in the squadron bar after a long week memories - back when this was allowed and when the Air Force was the Air Force!

Might have to try this. I don't have a fancy popcorn machine, but ive got a whirly pop, popcorn and flavacol. I also have that super refined yellow coconut oil to pop in, will see how that works out. Wife won't eat anything hotter than black pepper (and if its a big chunk, black pepper might be too much), so this will have to be a work from home snack while she's at the office.

I got some jalapeno powder for added flavor etc, you can try other powdered peppers as well. Depending on what kinds you like, the sky is the limit. Yeah, sometime you might happen to get a milder batch or even a hotter batch of the jarred pickled jalapeno's. I've also used different kinds of raw peppers too...that might give you the kick you're looking for. Lol Don't let them burn though. Have fun with it!!
