My suggestion is not to use wheel spacers as they add more stress on the wheel bearings and suspension parts. In the long run bigger wheels are a better option imho.

Have a set of 16” wheels & 35” tyres so have to decide between spacers or bigger tyres Will fit both & then have a trial for each so the decision is easier based on practical road tests
Any refurbished or new vehicle should be running on high octane fuel for efficiency and reliability. I don’t think many car owners use premium fuel to run their vehicles. That’s why they end up smoking badly, and require engine valve replacement.
