I love the early Elvis stuff. I was seven years old when I first saw him on the Milton Berle Show, a few months before I saw him in his first Ed Sullivan Show appearance. I was a huge fan. Of course I learned the words to all his songs and imitated him. My father got a kick out of it. When I was ten he was the head waiter at the Mount Washington Hotel in New Hampshire and once took me to work with him and had me sing "All Shook Up" in the kitchen for the cooks and the waiters. So much fun! I still joke with people that my first gig was a the Mount Washington Hotel when I was 10 years old. 😂 It was musically a great time to grow up in. I love watching your Elvis reactions! ❤
Oh, that song was so great, on the back of the I Want You, I Need You, I Love You 45 Record and on the For LP Fans Only side 2 song #1. I played the Album so much over the years the song runs through my veins and nervous system! So Great! Thanks Dani Atkinson!

This is the best version of unchained melody by Elvis it would be awesome if someone had footage of it th-cam.com/video/zoxsuL_PT9o/w-d-xo.htmlsi=aqApLvfUP5_7UAPe
=-------Soooooo much bettter than the original blues version of this song, which was slow & boring. Rufus Thomas was right, Elvis came out with a style of his own, and injected something into black music that no one else ever did. Listening toElvis early Sun Recordings (especially studio version, not the live ones) you can really hear the difference when comparing the original artists side-by-side with Presley. You can literally hear the morphing of blues into Rock when Elvis does it.
Explosive young fellows rocking away. No one could compare.
