  • I have never really used a thumb pick before, but after a short while this felt totally natural... having the spring makes it fit perfectly every time... nice idea!

You make a very useful point about the rigidity of not being able to change the angle. Your demos are very helpful ( and fun ). Thank you.

I bought a set of three Black Mountain picks; I really like how they feel and provide a quick transition from normal picking to thumb picking. The only thing I'd like to try is a thinner pick in the same setup.

There are Heavy, Medium and Light types, plus Jazz I think. I don't usually use Lights but this one strums well and I use it on the 12-string.

Having tried several types of thumb picks over the decades and getting along with none of them, I am delighted to discover this thing. And it's more than a thumb pick. Some songs, I start by fingerpicking and end up bashing at with the nails, wishing there was a pick in my hand. Now that's covered. And it didn't take any getting used to.

The little dog at the end was dying for a tummy tickle, and all he got was filmed. Tickle that dog immediately, Mr. Pauly!

For a beginner, the pick not moving is a GOOD thing. I know whereof I speak. I got this pick and instead of constantly having to rotate a regular pick back into position, I can go into right-hand autopilot and put more attention on the fretting hand.
    You’re funny. Subscribed.

Very nice shot from the top of the picks and their springy rings and the wood... thingies... I want coffee now.

I've been playing since 1958, this is the most comfortable Thumb Pick I've ever used. I do wish it was 1/16" longer though. Now how about a comfortable belt with no metal for guitarists who despise buckle rash.

Damn Henning ,bought a pack of these a few weeks ago and thought I'd stumbled on something secret. Now you come along and tell the world!!
But, seriously, these are great, never been able to keep a thumb pick on my thumb before especially for alternate picking but these work👍

3 @$19.95 as I just peeked. Seems legit. A long time ago in a galaxy far far away I used the one that slipped on your thumb and I liked it so this intrigues me. May give it a go. The opening was a gooder one. Two of my faves in the business you and Andy! Thanks guys you made it entertaining for a pick commercial! Not everybody can do that..... Be well and animals please sir.

Been Subscribed and watching your videos for a long time now.Good Reveiws and-like the Animals at the end.I bought a 3 pack a few weeks ago.I've tried on and off for years to use thumb picks..These work for me--I added 2 Monster Grips-which are small round silicone stick on pads.Where I needed them to Pad the top of the pick so it Fits and is comfortable on my thumb. And 1 Monster Grip on the pick itself..I don't use the pick all the time..You will have to get used to it.. But it's worth the effort ....Gives you options for different picking..I've only used the pick for electric guitar-So Far..Hope he can get some lighter thumbpicks..A .88 or 1.0 would be great..

I've had three of them for about a month and I like them. I've moved from accustic finger picking to electric guitar and playing blues and jazz. My hands are a men's medium and they fit well, as long as you're down picking. You could put some bandage tape on the inside if you wanted to tighten it up a bit. I don't use these all the time, but when I need them they're great. Learning new western chicken picken and the picks work for me here when nothing else did.

I have one and every time I pick it up I don't want to like it as I see it as a gimmick, but actually I do quite like it and it works really well. Still on the fence largely because there's a spring in it and I don't like that idea but is it pretty cool so that's just something to get your head around

We don't have to use hand cranks to start our cars anymore....Just thought you might want to know. This pick is THAT KIND of improvement!
I say this not as a proficient expert but as a struggling novice. This pick reduces the workload.....

@@EytschPi42 I listened to the whole thing so it’s not like I checked in, left a harsh comment and bailed. The vocals had a bit of a real men of genius vibe to them as if it was a parody but that could certainly be just me. I expected it to be parody when I figured out the subject matter. You sold me on the picks which is what I came to learn about. 👍🏻
