@@pinnen02 I mean, don't get me wrong. MGK did ok. His song is even "catchy" but his bars and even each diss was 1 dimensional. He also focused a lot on Em's age and physical appearance. The backbone of his whole track was "oh, you're old and ugly".
Em is a master. He not only flipped every diss but he hit with heavy lyrics with layered meaning. That's why I've always been a fan of Em. Everything is multidimensional. Everything is deeper than face value.
You just gotta look at numbers to understand what Eminem’s lines mean.
If you think Em lost this in any way, you don't understand the things he's saying. And that's ok 👌

Mgk’s “diss” track was just a song he released. Diss tracks shouldn’t have a hook (hip-hop/rap version of a chorus). Eminem’s diss had so many things said in it that go over peoples’ heads who aren’t used to listening to music and goings on in the industry, like where he was talking about never being on a list with iggy, Taylor swift, etc. and they’d be putting his name next to ja (ja rule) and benzino, who were people Eminem did diss tracks to in retaliation to them talking about his daughter hayley. Tldr the diss tracks he did killed their careers

@@robinhd8287 No, he has put out 3 albums since this happened. It was the first one that dropped like 2-3 weeks after the diss tracks. It was called Binge. A lot of people blamed Eminem for it not doing well, but as a die hard MGK fan, I have to admit that album was kinda sloppy and nowhere near his best work. That would likely be the reason for the backlash, more so than the beef with Em. The next album after that, (Hotel Diablo) did exceptionally well, and the last album that he released actually received several nominations and won several awards last year 👏
The beef started with mgk saying eminem's daughter was hot af when she was 16 and mgk was around 22? Maybe 24? So its expected eminem took offense to it

Eminem responded to everything Kelly said. There's a lot of bars that you guys missed. Every time Em says something, it's because it means something. You need to know the history Em had with JaRule, Benzino, and look at the video that interviews other rappers who wouldn't dare say a word about Em because he will come after you. It's these new guys that try their best to go after Em, however, it never works. Also, these young rappers are just trying to gain success by having Em respond to their stupidity. Eminem is deep. You really need to listen to his bars. Why do you think that MGK isn't rapping anymore. It's done but Em hasn't forgotten and he mentions MGK along with others he's destroyed in a lot of his songs. When we listen to other people's reactions, they're continuously stopping to make sense of the bars because his lyrics are like no other. He truly is deep. There will never be anyone like Em. It's sad because he's treated badly by White Americans who say he's just trying to be Black. 1.Eminem released Killshot on September 14th, And told MGK he would him Swayze . Patrick Swayze was in a movie called " Ghost " and which his character is a ghost, Patrick Swayze died on September 14th.
2. Killshot is a movie, Based on hitman who has to kill a man named Colson. MGK's name is Richard Colson Baker .
3. On September 7th, Eminem went live on IG and Play Ms. Pac-Man for 7 minutes straight with Tupac's " Hit em up" Playing in the background .
4. September 7th is the day that Pac was shot . And MGK has a Pac-Man tattoo over his collarbones ( Neck Area ) . " Hit em up " is a diss track by Tupac to Biggie and Diddy.
5. Eminem " give jade a kiss " line, followed up with " the game been same just the lock change " ( The Lox, Em's hair color, Jadakiss, Jade is Hailie's Middle Name ).

The guy on the rights reaction is understandable because most people don't know a lot of the things Em's referring to and the bars plus rhyme scheme just go over their heads. On a skill and creative level Eminem won by a long shot but on the level of sending a clear message that everyone can understand MGK won. There's nothing wrong with that though, for most people the winner is whoever they can understand more

There was a movie that came out several years back titled "kill shot". In that movie the main characters last name is Colston which is also MGKs real name. At the end of the movie he gets killed by a US (Marshall) Eminems real name. MGK made a radio/club/replay type produced track. Eminem made a diss track. Diss tracks don't have choruses and bridges. MGK didn't plan on winning lyrically I dont believe. He wanted the free promotion. And as far as that goes he did win. Lyrically he isn't on the level of eminem. But then again no one really is.

Hey office blokes, I'm pretty new here but im a big eminem fan over here in the U.S. this MGK and Em beef started when mgk did a song with tech N9ne called No Reason where he subliminally dissed eminem, now this was in the aftermath of eminems Revival album that flopped hard by eminem standards but still outsold most artists. Either way eminem got hated on for his new album because it wasn't shady enough and it wasnt "today's hip hop" enough. Eminem responded with a track on the Kamikaze album called Not Alike. Rap devil was responding to not alike and killshot was to rap devil. Now MGK has changed genres to Pop-Rock after releasing an album that flopped hard because it was poorly put together... eminem has won imo. Biased as it may be. Anyways, enjoying finding your channel.
