I watched 'The Mummy' with Brendan Fraser just before heading out to film the field test. I decided that if I was going to be out in the cold and damp for a few hours, I should at least have a little fun :)
Don't know. Likely a difficulty getting some third-party components in tandem with too quick a release (after the EDC33) and very high demand. Good luck to you!

I'm a paramedic and really like your review. I'm strongly considering this light to replace / carry in addition to my Archer 2A C. I work in a county with many rural areas, and I've had to search for patients in places with no lights. My current light works, and its cheap enough that if i lose it I'm not too upset but I really like the output and it's not too unaffordable
You may also want to look at the endurance test video on the channel. In later stress testing, however, the light failed. That video is available to SAR Team members (private community). I hope you find all this information helpful in making a final decision and thanks for your service!

two very useful lights, each perfect for the task.. the 33 for me is perfect for night walks.. the 35 sits at the ready on my bed stand for close encounters 👍🏽
Amazing review, though im not sure how i like the turbo modes just disappearing in seconds. In use cases where I'd want to use them, I'd like at least 2 minutes of turbo use though with how versatile it is with various beam types, it's pretty hard to beat
Yes, there are intended for VERY short use intervals. I look strongly at the High and Medium modes in general - High in particular - for this series. I have a battery endurance test for the EDC33 coming, so you can see what sustained High looks like from full battery to completely drained battery. Thank you.
I think, that the comparison of Lumin Shield between EDC33 and EDC35 is not correct, because on the EDC33 it was throw in Turbo and not Lumin Shield. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I have the EDC33 and I think so.. Perhaps I'm wrong..
You are right, but that's because of lower lumen output over a very wide area AND the light pollution from the surrounding city. That's why I chose that particular spot for the comparison. Hope that helps explain the result. Thanks for your observation.

It is 3 months of waiting for the EDC35 here in the UK. It's not only me, noone has seen the EDC35 yet.

No, it was Shield vs. Shield, both of which are a mix of Spot/Flood. The 33 is lower candela and the display was over a wide area.
