Sadly I never knew about him. I'm still somewhat of a newbie to k-pop in general (like 2 and a half years) and EXO wasn't my first choice. I adore them now tho. SM seems to have dropped the ball on alot of talent tho. I mean they suck at promoting (EXO and SHINee seem to get shorted alot)......but SM has the best talent that comes out of there. Maybe 2021 will be a better year for promoting.....

To be honest back then i was so addicted to EXO and my bias left one after one. I miss Luhan, Kris and Tao being with the other members but honestly I'm so proud of them.
As an English speaker, I'm really impressed with how well the boys pronounced the lyrics. Of course, their vocals were wonderful. They are such talented singers.

I'm a fellow EXO-L, but I agree that they're not perfect. Kyungsoo and Chen? I really have no complaint. But despite how amazing BaekHyun's voice is, he can get a little pitchy when singing live.
I'm not saying they're not amazing singers, I'm just saying that, like with every other artist, they need a little help with autotuning, especially when singing with the really strong harmonies that songs like this one has.
Journey is very hard to cover. Not a lot of people can sing Journey's music quite like Journey can. So it was a great challenge for the boys to take this song on as a challenge. Not as good as the original, but pretty sweet to the ears as well. :)

Kyungsoo's control here is absolutely amazing. When given songs that are in his vocal range, he's incredible. I love the sound of Luhan's vibrato, he can hold his own pretty damn well for being a lead vocalist and singing with the main vocals.
***** He's still a lead vocalist though :) usually there's a huge gap between lead vocalists and main vocalists in a group, but Luhan, as a lead vocalist, holds his own very well when singing with Chen, Baekhyun and D.O who are all technically stronger vocalists.
Hearing the blending of EXO's main vocal line is still goosebumps until now.

See him singing on King of Masked Singers "Stained" & on Immortal Songs w/Baekhyun(whom I also think is in the same class). They were about a year after debut. Raw talent! ❣

I just couldn't help laughing at Baekhyun's accent. Like you got D.O who sounds almost fluent, then Chen who's got a bit of an accent, and Luhan who's like got some things to work on, and then there's Baekhyun.
