Husqvarna was ahead of their time with this saw. Great power to weight, anti-vibe...I owned two of these years ago and made alot of chips with them....
Bellhopper, I sure needed this video:) Bless you for being here for me. I love spending time here with you. God Bless and Protect you and your loving family:)
Torx was definitely NOT stock on those. They didn’t start with torx until at least 2011 because I have a 2011 Xtork saw with ALL Allen but my 2018 is all torx. Just information sir.
Almost all them 262s slap without a gasket. Be warned guys that do a BGD on these you have to at least sand the band flat. Will give you about.022” squish.
I have a saw similar to that saw but it doesn’t seem to choke and once it’s running it seems like a great saw…lots of power…but real pain to start….doesnt start at all with decompression button. Do you think im wasting money to see if it can be fixed? It seems like it takes a lot of strength to get it started compared to other saws I’ve owned and it leaks bar oil like crazy when setting. I’m curious to see what you think….and if i should get rid of it. Thanks
I have a trash saw that I found and got running again. Plan on keeping it but it asks for 40:1 mix. I have another that asks for 50:1 mix. Can I just make a 40:1 mix for both? Will it hurt anything?
40:1 or 50:1 are both fine. 40 tends to leave your spark plug a bit on the black and damp side while 50 should be brown and dry assuming your carburetor is tuned properly and you have no air leaks. Good luck
