You're welcome. It's an interesting watch. Matthew actually watched it recently. And he and I were busy discussing it for a long time over coffee before you showed up at 1 Utama. There's a lot in the show to talk about and try to figure out and make guesses about.

Sadly most of the food sold in Msia is made and served by foreigners. Heck, many of them operated food places selling local food. So don't be surprised to see an Indonesian or a Burmese selling Chinese food. In Malaysia these days, you can have Chinese, Indian or Malay food all prepared by foreigners. Heck even popular establishments and joints hired them. Thus I remember you had a problem of the staffs at Vinney Jeya not understanding that you just want a cold glass of iced water because they are not local Msian Indians but foreign Indians, probably from India. Even locals like myself are frustrated sometimes because many times they got our orders wrong. This problem applies to other sectors as well, like barber, salons, sundry mart workers and such. Thus we locals encounter them daily.

I was thinking about this the other day, because more often lately, I've been told by security guards in shopping malls to stop filming. I noticed this happening to other TH-cam vloggers as well. And when I've been wandering around whether on foot or previously by bicycle, I sometimes ran into gates or barriers around apartment buildings and residential complexes. And the security guards there tended to be non-Malaysians as well. I heard the other day that Nepalese in particular were known for being hired to work as security guards. In a way, it makes sense for them to do this work. But I do wonder if there are situations where language becomes a problem in that line of work.

Roti john got it names from the shapes.😂 its a poor mans version of philly cheesesteak. However a good one do exist but not in bazaar ramadan.

Me always request the seller to reduce the amount of sauce/black peppers to avoid overpowered burger/roti john taste
