    I love that it looked like she was going to cry when he said it might be 2 more days. That looked like a real no bs low point. Followed by the inevitable high of reaching yr destination. This was awesome video.

    Good attitude you both showed, even when it was tough going, smiles. Nice couple. Looks like you even found yourselves the burgers and bottles of wine at the end.

    Looks pretty rough out there Warren. My experience of rough seas is being on-board HMS Glasgow and crossing the Bay of Biscay. That was horrendous - but bloody funny too. Trying to get in your bunk at night - hilarious. Well deserved drink at the end of it. Not sure if you are aware - the Soggy Dollar Bar is selling a limited number of brass mugs tomorrow. Time dependant on what time zone you are in. Only 200 pairs available. I know you have sampled at least one Painkiller there so you may desire a couple of these. Hopefully I can get a couples too. My favourite bar ever, along with the Angry Friar in Gibraltar. Take care out there. Thanks for another brill vid.

    I'm an experienced sailor and yes, you did way too much complaining...😊. You've got to take it in stride. Perhaps better passage/weather planning?

    • @WEsail
      @WEsail  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mike Phillips haha yep I figured it was too much lol! Anyways, you are ABSOLUTELY correct- more passage/weather planning for sure!! We are sure still learning what the boat can and can’t do... and moreover, what WE can and can’t do!! Sailing to wind for that long and with large swell is something we will plan on avoiding from here on out!! Thanks for messaging- have a great day!

      @@WEsail You guys will "harden up" with sea time and experience! Weather routing is critical, you might want to let your audience know what kind of weather apps you're using for passage planning. I for one would certainly like to know why you got caught with so much headwind!

    Argh! This (4:43) definitely kills the rope clutch and the lines.

    • @WEsail
      @WEsail  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh I know, I hate doing it and definitely open to any suggestions on other methods.. I recently changed those clutches to some new Harken "low wear" clutches that use a much different "clamping" mechanism which will supposedly wear much less... Guess we will see! Cheers and stay safe!

    first, I'd like to say Erica looks like a sexy tanned mrs claus in her big red jacket in the opening scene (and other scenes). second, the end scene you prove yourselves to be "shot gun" sailors. third, i missed how many days you were out there Warren, did you say 9 at some point!?!? fourth, why all the complaining this passage was only 19 minutes and 45 seconds, geeezzzzz. lastly, you make good vids, thanks for sharing and thumbs up as always
