- Here is my honest OmniShaver Review , let me know down in the comments which head shaving gimmick razor you would like me to try next. They say this is the fastest shave and the fastest way to shave your head but speed does not mean its better.
Dear Jonnie,
I completely understand why you wouldn’t recommend a product that cut you during your first shave. To be clear, I respect your review and believe you shared an honest opinion.
Watching the video, I happened to notice something I’d like you to consider. The butter used seemed more paste-like than slippery. As you noted in the instructions, a slippery lubricant is necessary, and not all butter is created equal. I mention this because, after your initial shaving strokes where you removed the butter, I didn’t notice any cuts. When you later went back and re-shaved those areas, the skin is wrinkling with the strokes, which tells me that the OmniShaver is grabbing the skin rather than sliding over it (seen at 6:20).
It’s important because if the skin is pulled while the shaver is changing directions, cuts are more likely to occur, which is why we created our shave butter. Hair conditioner will also work, you just need to take care as some conditioners contain chemicals which cause the blades to rust.
I think your results would be different if you tried the OmniShaver again, this time with our shave butter. If you’re open to it, I’m happy to send you some.

I used the Omnishaver when they were prototyping on Indiegogo. I cut myself a few times, and the blades lasted maybe 2 weeks? I stick to my Skull Shaver Pitbull pro, and Schick Hydro 5 blades. The Pitbull pro is awesome! Thanks for a truthful, honest review, bro!

I've tried both Omnishaver and Pitbull.
Pitbull is better by far!
I have this product and as stated yes it does need to be lubricated and on the first attempt I too had some cuts, but after some practice the product does work well. I do not use their shaving butter i use regular shaving cream with some pre shave oil and that's what i found works in my case. Just like anything else it's different strokes for different folks (shaving pun) but I appreciate your honest review regardless

I’m new to the head shaving game and you might have just saved me a little pain because I have been thinking about trying the Omnishaver. So far the Defender razor is working good for me so I’ll just hold pat with that. Thank you for your sacrifice. Lol.

I just got this blade about 3 weeks ago and have used it 3 times. One of my biggest concerns as a black guy was getting bumps on my head. After using their butter and heating the blades and putting a hot towel on head per the instructions. I can honestly say I have not had any cuts or bumps. Excellent product in my opinion. May want to give their butter a shot
A Davis987 I get it when people tell me to use their butter but if it doesn’t work well with other creams or butters then it’s still not good, you shouldn’t have to stick with a proprietary product to make this blade function I’m going to try it again with a different shaving cream. I’ll post an update next time I need to shave and my scalp heals.
I’ve used the Omni shaver a few times, and the blades don’t last at all, I switched back to my throw away razors✊✊

I have been using the headblade for about 3 years now I haven’t cut my head since I used the very first headblade classic but the moto gets the job done for me
Can omnishaver get rust on it
Other than the cuts it did look like it went very close to the scalp but. I mean I think the actual shaving part is great but i think they need to go back to the drawing board on the constant cutting aspect
Mick_ Man yeah when it worked it was good but as a whole experience I didn’t like it and I won’t use it again.

Dameyon Barnes I say good luck to you, I tried it again with another shaving cream because the product should work with other shaving creams if it only works with their brand butter it’s a major flaw in my opinion. The second use is being uploaded today.
