I started losing my hair at 12 & I'm now 42. About a month ago I finally shaved it all off after so many years of feeling ugly & it's the best thing I ever did. At first i tried to keep a little hair but it just emphasized the baldness pattern, looked exactly like your guest, so I just buzzed it to peach fuzz & I love it! I get compliments EVERY time I go anywhere. People actually stop me! Its crazy but I feel so beautiful & content now.
II had a girlfriend who had genetic baldness. And she felt so bad that she ended the relationship with me because she said that I deserved a woman with hair. The reality is that I would not have minded having shaved her head and my head daily to see her happy.
Her experience going bald as a woman is very similar to mine as a man. It's great that men and women are finally coming together to approach this subject in a positive and de-stigmatising way. She looks really attractive and I wish her all the best in life.
Nah its very different for men and women. Being bald is viewed as masculine. Baldness will never be viewed as feminine. Us men can just shave our heads. Women have it way harder

There's always going to be someone out there that makes your problems look trivial by comparison. But that doesnt mean your problems arent valid. Absolutely no need to make a league out of this stuff, ranking issues like this is Olympic diving or some shit lol. Beyond pathetic. Going bald is brutal. That's all that needs to be said. Stop trying to be divisive.

Usually in life, you have some kind of shit hitting the fan by the time you're 27. Whether it's horrible family problems, death, disease, unfaithful partner, addiction, bla bla bla. The more you go through the more understanding we get. When I was a little turd 16 year old I wouldn't have wanted to date a bald girl. Nowadays I find myself here and being attracted to this woman because she's cute in the face for one, but two (and more importantly) she's such a strong person to come on this channel and speak publicly about this. It's hard to be vulnerable in public. She looks beautiful and I'm crushing on her for doing this.
There is so much more pressure on women to over-adapt to the social standard of beauty dominated by the cosmetics and fashion market. Your new haircut looks great on you! It sucks that hair is seen as so important. I don't have baldness but I do have grey hair since I was 16. I dyed my hair every month and my roots every 2 weeks religiously for 15 years until I just decided to go natural and let it grow out. Its just hair! Its just color! Even if you have no hair who cares its just hair. We put so much value and confidence in our hair and listening to all the self doubt and embarassment people have over their hair is upsetting. Thanks for making a channel like this Im sure it makes a ton of people feel more confident in the hair they have (or don't have!)

Hi i'm from Germany and i shaved my head yesterday after years of hairloss. It was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life to be in the bathroom looking at the mirror and slowly cutting of all hairs. But what all of you have to know if you have to make the same decision then DO IT. I was at the "thermal bath" the day after to look if people will watch at my head or something but all of that is just in your head cause nobody cares. If your friends are making jokes after you cut them off then just wait for the next time you meet them and all is just normal and nobody will do jokes about it anymore. Sorry for my non perfect English but i wanted to tell you my story. I had very very hard years cause I'm 29 now and my hairs began to fall out at around 20-21, wearing caps all day and even in the club while going out i was always on attention that nobody put my cap from my head.. The best thing of all is you will look instantly younger and not like 45...

I worked at a Pontiac dealership in the early 2000s. There was a dark long-haired, 50-something lady that used to bring our newspaper (remember those?). She parted her hair in the middle and had a 1-2" wide bald spot on top. I was so impressed with how she rocked her hair. She honestly looked just fine, but I'll remember her courage and confidence to my dying day.

I don't have the guts to do this, I just turned 50 and have genetic hair loss like my Mom and Grandma. I still wear bangs and have my hair parted on the side to hide it. I switch up hair styles and haircolors all the time to compensate. So I have mad respect for her buzzing her hair, plus she is gorgeous to boot! 😃
I’m sure it’s very difficult but this young woman needs to know that she’s beautiful inside and out. She’s got to own her new look. She is more powerful than she gives herself credit for.
You are very brave! My grandma had psoriasis, and yellow, oozing plaques all over her head. I tried to make her hair look as thick as I could by cutting, perming; and setting her hair. Unfortunately she insisted in using box dye, and this made her hair very weak; and led to a lot of breakage. She would go at least a qeek between shampoos, and she had a very tender head. I would wash and scrub her head the best that I could, but eventually I just decided to buzz her head bald 👨🦲 and shave her head with shaving cream and a straight razor. After that? N, I washed and scrubbed her head an every day. At first she wouldn't leave the house without a wig! I finally began talking her into showing off her bald 👩🦲 head, and now I kept her hair buzzed to 1/2" all over her head, and Iuse fun colors and gel on her hair! She looks amazing 👏 😍 💖 💕 💗 ❤️
I'm a dude and used to get #2 buzzes with various fade types on the sides, but 6-7 yrs ago the thicker hair hairline and outer rim of the top contrasted the thin/transparent scalp (similar to hers) to where the thinning on top stood out a LOT.... I went to a Combover and then let it get long hair with it combed over.... Wanting to do this same thing this weekend, but I know the hairline and edges of the scalp will have thicker hair and not sure if I should try to blend it, or leave it and be grateful I still have some on the front! With this said: Think a #1 is best and to keep the thicker hairline while I still have it, or to go down to "No Guard" to even it out, and use precision beard trimmers to edge up the hairline? (I ask this being I'm not sure how much hair is left with no guard, and it pressing too hard in areas can make it shorter in spots?) I wear a backwards cap often and my hairline is visible, so Wondering if a #1 may make it look more like a "Decision buzz cut" if I do it NOW, rather than using the thicker front/top sides to get a combover/fade until I can't anymore... But by then, the hairline will be thinned way more. Maybe get ahead of the curve now?
I felt this problem so I went for it it's very freeing still get Assumptions on the type of person I am, or you know which way do I flow with men or with women? I'm a woman who loves men, but men don't care about me anymore which is fine. I've decided to be fine with that. I feel better not having any hair than worrying about how I look. And how much product I put in it and? Things like that I have fibromyalgia, so I cannot fix my hair very well, so I'm happy to be shaved

She reacted pretty early, but that's kind of what mine looked like before the crown got worse. You can tell that the top is a little thinner than the sides.
Shesounds to me like she is suffering from stress, physical and psychological, and could probably reverse this by correcting the deficiency or toxin. Looks good regardless.

Unfortunately she insisted in using box dye, and this made her hair very weak; and led to a lot of breakage. She would go at least a qeek between shampoos, and she had a very tender head. I would wash and scrub her head the best that I could, but eventually I just decided to buzz her head bald 👨🦲 and shave her head with shaving cream and a straight razor. After that? N, I washed and scrubbed her head an every day. At first she wouldn't leave the house without a wig! I finally began talking her into showing off her bald 👩🦲 head, and now I kept her hair buzzed to 1/2" all over her head, and Iuse fun colors and gel on her hair! She looks amazing 👏 😍 💖 💕 💗 ❤️

I'm a dude and used to get #2 buzzes with various fade types on the sides, but 6-7 yrs ago the thicker hair hairline and outer rim of the top contrasted the thin/transparent scalp (similar to hers) to where the thinning on top stood out a LOT....
I went to a Combover and then let it get long hair with it combed over....
Wanting to do this same thing this weekend, but I know the hairline and edges of the scalp will have thicker hair and not sure if I should try to blend it, or leave it and be grateful I still have some on the front!
With this said:
Think a #1 is best and to keep the thicker hairline while I still have it, or to go down to "No Guard" to even it out, and use precision beard trimmers to edge up the hairline?
(I ask this being I'm not sure how much hair is left with no guard, and it pressing too hard in areas can make it shorter in spots?)
I wear a backwards cap often and my hairline is visible, so Wondering if a #1 may make it look more like a "Decision buzz cut" if I do it NOW,
rather than using the thicker front/top sides to get a combover/fade until I can't anymore... But by then, the hairline will be thinned way more.
Maybe get ahead of the curve now?

I felt this problem so I went for it it's very freeing still get Assumptions on the type of person I am, or you know which way do I flow with men or with women? I'm a woman who loves men, but men don't care about me anymore which is fine. I've decided to be fine with that. I feel better not having any hair than worrying about how I look. And how much product I put in it and? Things like that I have fibromyalgia, so I cannot fix my hair very well, so I'm happy to be shaved

She reacted pretty early, but that's kind of what mine looked like before the crown got worse. You can tell that the top is a little thinner than the sides.
