- New CND professional LED 2019 nail lamp review & unboxing
Today i unboxed and gave a mini review on the brand new 2019 CND LED lamp for professional nail technicians. This lamp is not yet available but i managed to snag it on pre release during the show deals from Sweet Squared, which is a UK supplier for CND products.
I'm a self employed Beauty therapist and I've had my old CND lamp for 3 years so it was time for an upgrade, plus the deal was not to be missed! I paid £195 + VAT for 12 CND shellac colour coats plus top and base coat with the new lamp coming free with the deal.
The RRP on this lamp is £175 + VAT

Scunscreens should be applied about 20 minutes before exposure so if someone was that worried you can apply it for the client as you are doing soak off. I would say I would rather persoanlly apply it on the back of client's hand because I wouldn't want the sunscreen to end up on the nails.

I LOVE the no beep timer!!! My favorite new feature as well. Also the enclosed back is most sensible. Thank goodness its priced right , the last one was ridiculous and i have 4 of them😆🙄

Hi, this is the lamp that is specifically for use with CND products.
I recently purchased the CND LED Lamp (the new model wasn't yet available in the U.S.) and now have the opportunity to purchase the new model for a great price at an authorized distributor. Would your recommend the new model or should I stick with the older model?
Personally I much prefer the newer lamp, I never have to check that someone has their hand in just the right place and it has reduced people bumping their nails too 😊
Yea looking at this online it’s close to 200 before tax. I spent 150 on the older one that’s stuck in storage so I’m not sure if I want to spend that plus tools products and shellac. It’s so much money just to do it on myself!

I was not aware that led lights were harmful to skin. I know Uv lights can cause skin cancer. What kind of damage do LED lights do?
Jodie Grawe LED lights still emit UV they just do it more efficiently. That’s not to say all LED’s do, it’s just a type of bulb, the light they emit varies.

We bought it to use with En Vogue gel. Haven’t had a chance to try it yet, but I’ll try to remember to let you all know if it works out.

Kipaji Mkono I’ve never had a lamp that does that, I think I prefer the buttons tbh. Ooh I didn’t know it hadn’t been released there yet!
@@AylieRose O.P.I. has a LED lamp that has a sensor for light activation when inside the lamp is touched. Just fyi.
sogladtobefree Thanks, but for using CND shellac the actually CND lamp needs to be used to ensure it’s cured correctly.

You don’t need spf, it’s led lights not UV!
Both emit UVA radiation, the traditional bulbs emit a broader spectrum but LED lamps are still Ultra Violet (not the same as normal LED’s)
