HOW TO, A Step by Step Stockx 2021 prepping GUIDE! How to send shoes to Stockx!

- In this video I show you exactly the steps taken to prepare your shipment to stockx. First you have to make an account. Then you must list your shoes, they have to be new and unworn condition. Next, list your shoes for a price you want. Then wait for the sale. When it sells they notify you and have a paper and label that must be used. The paper goes inside the actual shoe box and the label obviously goes on the box for UPS. Then you drop it off. Depending upon your location payouts and delivery time will vary. For me it is two days of shipping and typically get payout the same day they arrive at stockx for authentication. Many of you will say not to sell on stockx because of the fakes. I know I'm sending in legit pairs and will continue to do so. The market is subject to knock offs like any market, just be careful. In this video I did not make any money instead I broke even due to the fees. Typically I would hold onto the shoe until the market goes up but there are a few shoes coming up and the money that I have sitting on these can be used for lunch money shoes or huge profit shoes, just better usage coming up soon.

I Typically use shipping boxes sent by footaction or footlocker, etc. however good boxes are at Walmart and Lowe’s Home Depot etc.. stay away from Target those are too expensive. It doesn’t really matter which boxes as long as they fit. If the boxes are too big cut them down a little bit. Remember to use some bubble wrap or paper cardboard for filler. I typically use both.

Thanh Nguyen I’ve touched on this before but I do apologize for not seeing this comment. Japan uses DHL I believe. Fees are a bit different for reach country.

Hey there I m confused of the shipping label and the commercial invoice. StockX doesn’t really ask me to include the commercial invoice which is classified under “additional forms”. So do I have to include the commercial invoice? Or is it needed to be provided to UPS when I ship them?
Ng Tzyy Nian the only thing you have to do is put the order number form paper thats associated with the shipping label inside the actual shoe box. Then drop it off at UPS. The system automatically updates stockx. UPS only needs the box with the label. I always get my receipt of drop off from UPS.

I was introduced to this app by a young one. I really don’t understand to well question: I’m trying to sell a pair of kids air max I type in the shoe but nothing comes up how can I find sneaker ?
Hi, so this happens quite often when I am at Ross or Burlington. If the shoe does not come up it has likely never sold on that platform. You can add a potential product after you search and nothing appears there is a tab that says "REQUEST A PRODUCT". Fill out the info and take a picture and upload it. They'll reply back either way! Good luck, if its not on stockx probably not to popular of a shoe. Check out GOAT, eBay, Poshmark, Mercari and facebook marketplace for comps as well!
Great video. Very helpful. I just made my first sale today. The shoebox was dinged on one corner. This is how I received it from Nike. Will this be acceptable? Will I be charged by stockx for this “damaged” shoebox?
TheShowtimer213 glad it was helpful. It depends on how bad it is honestly. I’ve sent in boxes with small dings and creases and haven’t had any issues. If you can, push the ding out as much as possible and to get creases out use the iron after you break down the box but make sure to use a towel to cover the actual box. At one point stockx website said the boxes must be in “in store” condition. Which I can’t seem to find anymore. But with that in mind, dings and creases are bound to happen honestly. Just make sure to wrap in bubble wrap and make it look legit. Good luck. Like I said I haven’t had any issues in the past but that doesn’t mean you won’t. (I’m sure you’ll be fine).

Amirbillz if you dropped it off with the label given by stockx don’t worry about it. It automatically updates with the system give it some time can take up to 24 hours.

So, when I sell the pair of shoes do the fees get charged from my account first or do I just get the payout amount added to my bank account.
Also if they do return it it is 15% fee charged from the total amount?
Runic Goldfish thank you for the comment, good question. The fees are automatically taken from the sale. Total sale - fees = The payout upon successful transaction completion is what gets deposited. Nothing gets charged to your cc on file unless your item failed authentication or found damaged then the 15% fee from transaction total.
I have a question, when we ship the shoe , do we tell UPS to ship it in 2 day or does stockx take care of that and we just hand over the box to UPS?

I'm a logistics coordinator. It will ship in the time that Stockx chooses on the label. The driver will pick up at the UPS store the same day as long as you drop off by 3PM that day, then it will go to the hub and ship overnight. The earlier you drop it off at the store, the better! The speed of the shipment (How Fast) is automated already on the label. The label itself gives UPS shipping directions, you don't have to worry about that.

Wocstar it’s linked to the tracking number. So if you used that label they sent then it will auto update.
What happens if you sold the shoe and still haven’t got the money but you don’t send them away
Amer Nasr it depends really. Stockx can charge your 15% of the total transaction or more at their discretion. Also you could face account suspension. If you don’t think you’ll send them for whatever the reason is reach out and explain why and see if they can just cancel the transaction. I’ve heard and saw some cases that went well with nothing wrong while others got banned. Good luck!
Do i need a specific printer to print the label that has the tape behind it, the one that goes in the 2nd box?
He he boiii label printer can print the actual postage label. I personally have a dymo 4xl printer. However you can just print from regular printer.

I shipped my shoes on Tuesday and it still says En route to StockX for authentication but on my UPS account says delivered.
mol ali I’ve had that happen as well. Send an email to customer service they’ll be able to verify delivered. Sometimes the system doesn’t update as quickly as needed.

Nah small wear is acceptable just no rips or tears. I’ve sent in creased boxes and have order shoes that came with dents.

i noticed you used screen grab , i recently tried to use screen grab for a label on stock x but it becomes blurry when i use screen grab, also when i try to print a label on paypal the layout option won’t pop up so it only prints in landscape and cuts off half the label, yes i’ve already set up the printer settings and stuff , how can i fix that?
AeonWinx you have a dymo 4xl? If you do, when you screen grab on the left side of toward the top there’s an insert tab click that and it should let you expand. If it’s landscape, go to advanced settings and rotate 90 degrees. It’ll print upside down but it’ll work 🤝
How does stockx know that I already shipped it out? And how long does it usually take to send a confirmation email
George Karamanukyan hi! The label is linked to the order. Once it gets scanned it auto updates. The amount of time between confirmation email varies in my experience. I’ve gotten some with a few minutes and others a few hours.

I hope so as well! But if it does get damaged they have insurance for orders placed. Email customer service and let em know your concern and get info on what to do if it was damaged.
Is the shipping deducted from your payout on the app the shipping from UPS to Stockx or do you still have to pay for that?
ApexGod shipping is paid by customer. Stockx will send you the label in email or just go via online and navigate to the sold section or current section and there will be a print label tab on the very right side.

Dkickz 007 you won’t be able to unless your phone is linked to a printer. if you don’t have a printer. Go to a UPS store, use their computer (they charge by time), or go to a library, log in and print it.

If your in the US the buyer always pays shipping. If outside the US the shipping is split both ways.

Exactly that, start in store and work towards learning online. You’ll need rakuten and coupons to be profitable but in the comfort of your own home.
Does the shoe box (original) have to be in perfect condition for stock x ?

Scott Gill it should be in same condition as you would get at store. Technically no damage to box. However, that’s not realistic at all honestly. If you got small creases/bents it should be fine. If it’s excessive, iron the box out a little bit but make sure to put a towel that is slightly damp under it. Should work wonders.

Versace Vlone my bad that top slip above shipping label isn’t important. I don’t use it for anything. just cut out the shipping label or print it via label printer.

Yep you can do it all there they charge for usage of though. If you can front it, just buy a cheap printer it’ll save you money in the long run.

FreeRuben that paper inside is the packing sleep, you’ll see your order info on first page when you click the “print label”. The label is the second page attach that to the box. Drop it off. All fees are covered just drop off and keep the receipt they give you.

Nicole Dunlop nah that’s perfect saves you money too. They suggest an “H” type of taping. So across the big opening and edges to keep liquid out.

jeremy eel hi! Ya know I’m not entirely sure. I don’t think so. Also, I don’t think the shoe box would fit one, you’d have to modify two. But maybe if you have some tape to cover up usps markings on the boxes that work.
Can the shipping on the outside of the box be any size of paper, eg a4 size piece of paper. Or does it have to be the size of your shipping label

I forgot to put the invoice sheet in the shoebox for stockx, it says ups dropped off the shoes on 6/11 and I haven't heard from them yet, I just remembered that I forgot about the invoice sheet this morning I emailed them and sent screen shots of the ups receipt, the ups drop off notification,a picture of the shipping label that I had to print and put on the box ,and a screen shot of the stockx order summary that says the shoes have been sent, Is it true that the orders are insured, but give me your honest answer don't sugarcoat it, and do you have any experience with this situation
aka eaugallie00 honestly, it shouldn’t be that big of a deal. The ups label is linked with the transaction. The slip only improves their accuracy. I’d say if you emailed to notify it shouldn’t be a problem, this seems like a semi-normal problem. Nice catch on your part though.

If your out of the states I’m sure it’s DHL. If your in the states and no UPS I’d send an email to customer service and let em know what’s going on.

Kechia Brown hi, I’ve seen some shoes that can sell as a pack before. I’m honestly not sure. If they came in the same box then you wouldn’t have a box for each just the one. I would message support as I cannot be of any assistance for this one. Just explain to them everything matches you just don’t have the box as it came in a two pack. Maybe they can cancel your order without any problems. Let me know how it goes.

Faiz Yuusuf nah man just make sure it don’t open. Wouldn’t recommend like scotch tape tho, heck Walmart/family dollar/dollar tree or any other clear tape just fine.I personally get tape from Costco in bulk. Just make sure it don’t open.

I've received the instruction slip with the label but it wont actually let me see the label instead just an error
Go to the dashboard online (desktop) and click the reprint option, that happens sometimes to me as well.

Can the shipping box have any sort of logo on it? If not can I turn it inside out so that the logo is not shown from the outside

Oscar Gonzalez thanks for watching! For stockx it has to be original box specific to that model. But check out GOAT you can sell with no box and even used. I have a video on that as well. But eBay is definitely an option as well but that’s totally up to you.

Where do you get the sticky label from that you put on at the end??
They are just standard 4x6 labels for the dymo 4xl printer. Amazon is where I order mine from. You can also go into ups and ask for label protectors if your just printing on paper and don’t want to waste tape. Also, I’ve heard people get the same labels for free via ups but I personally have never looked into it.

That works perfect, just make sure to use clear tape. UPS has label protectors which I typically get for free. Just cut out the label prior to taking it. Saves you some money on tape!

Team MJ honestly cannot answer. Depends on who’s checking I guess. If they are small like just from normal wear them I’d say it may be good. But if they big check out goat damaged box option. It be a little less cash but at least you’ll move them.
I know on goat you have to select in the app that you dropped it off. Does StockX do the same thing?
Nope, once it’s scanned it auto updates on their end. But sometimes it takes a while to update so you’ll get notifications to drop it off.

zeldude thanks for watching! Yes just take the nike labels off and put the order slip in the actual shoe box and seal it up. I do this quite often as well, they seem to know what size boxes shoes need to come in for some reason (lol).
I know I have to ship the shoes within 2 days but if I win shoes off the SNKRS app and it takes 3-4 days for the shoes to ship to my house then how does that work? I don’t want to wait a couple days to ship them because the value of the sneakers will be lower. I want to sell the sneakers as soon as I know I’ve won on snkrs app
JaredCrystal2211 Dominates thats a bit tricky. If your trying to chance it, I’d wait a couple days before actually posting ask or accepting the highest bid. There is no my to make sure you get shoe in hand in the time frame allotted.
Recently a lot of my packages have been delayed. I personally wouldn’t do this. The only time I’ve done something like this is when I’ve gone to multiple store and bought multiple shoes day of launch.
If you do decide to this and don’t send in allotted time, after multiple missed windows I believe they will ban you or at least the email and such associated with it.
Like I said, I wouldn’t chance it. Best wishes though.

Quick question when I print label and it now says re-print the shipping label and UPS scans it then it says in route or when I print it’s supposed to say shipped on its own?
When it’s scanned it’ll update automatically to em route. Sometimes there’s a delay, I’ve personally shipped multiple items that tracking shows arrived but the status did not update. If it happens and your worries send an email to customer service.

I copped some shoes on SNKRS and i listed them on stockx but i was curious to know what if i wanted to cancel the sell or never ship the shoes what would happen ?
Parkerr if they haven’t sold you can cancel with no problems. If they have sold and you cancel, you may encounter a fee of 10% of the cost and if you don’t ship you could face that fee and possibly being banned.
So on my phone after I ship it with UPS I don’t have to do anything else? On goat I have to click “dropped off” once I shipped the item.. and I don’t see that option on stockx

I would use box. If it gets damaged because you used a bag with bubble wrap you’ll loose money. Spend the extra $1 use a box.

Yea, you don’t even gotta do all that just make sure there’s no other labels except the label for stockx.

No big deal but if the box gets damaged in transit then it’ll be a claim with ups probably. Using that stuff just reduces the chance of it getting damaged.

Quick question . Can I drop off at a ups access point or does it have to be a straight up ups store ?
Access point as in like a box on the side of street or in front of business? If so, I’ve done that a few times. However I do like to get a slip for proof of drop off. 🤷♂️
