We made one one time using cigarette smoke to push thru the lines to see where it was leaking. Actually worked too. Old man showed me it. Works with colored smoke bombs too. Just fill a big chamber full of smoke n blow it thru. V band clamps will help with this too every boosted car iv ever seen had always had @ least 1 boost leak in its time at that same exact spot.
Yea the T bolt clamps work good when they are the correct size I’m using a 2.25 inch on a 2inch coupler but it’s the only one I had so time for new ones.

Great vid mate, But please check the length of intake pipe that goes inside your air filter! The pipe can go to far inside the pod and "seal' against the in-dented section of the filter. Know issue all u have to do is make sure there is a gap between the intake pipe and the inside of the filter. Keep up the awesome information in these vids mate!👍👌
Would this test work on a turbo car that has no pcv/ open hole in rear of lower intake manifold? Or would the boost leak tester have the air escape out of that open spot in the rear of my intake? Thanks

That's why I switched to the hks myself 😉 I had issues with the stock bypass valve and the greddy bov leaking off boost.
