I used to be a Ducati factory tech. I went to Bologna and the Ducati factory. EVERY bike that comes off the production line is immediately rolled onto the dyno and taken to redline in EVERY gear. Just so you experts know
i dont own one and i dont know mutch about them, i own yamaha, but my buddy have bought v4 3 months ago and at ducati dealership they said to not drive 1000km ( i think 600mile ) over 6000 rpm, then come back to make oil change and stuff....
Apart from negative comments putting the salesman down for “how much” fuel was in the tank, he must have worked a good deal and seemed trustworthy for “Max Wrist” to purchase from !!
When I bought my first used car from a dealership ,15ish years ago, the salesman pulled cash out of his wallet for me to fill the tank. You never forget when someone goes the extra mile for you
A big YEEEEHAAWWW!!! From your throngs of fans here at the TAIL OF THE DRAGON here in East Tennessee, we love ya' buddy, happy for ya' and can't wait for you to bring the Ducati here and slay the dragon with it!! SLAY THE DRAGON WITH THE DUCK!!
best moto vlogger by a mile... while Max content its not pure vlog... sometimes it is.. and when it is, he is untouchable. love to see you with a Ducati, different experience, best not the best does not matter, its different. and still love you to see you on a prepped 1299s ...
Can't believe people don't follow manufacturers recommendations regarding "running in procedure" ! They claim that they know more than the factory engineers who spend millions of dollars in developing an engine and how to maintain its reliability & longevity ! 😂
I cant believe that business deal fell through at the last hour. Dude specifically was interested on his social media platforms a proven social media influencer walks in and gives him the deal of a lifetime with nothing to lose he would get the bike back if he didn’t get 100k subz and obviously has no idea of the lasting impact that would of had on his business and lets not talk about his potential write offs 😢 o’well glad you bought it cant wait for more content 👍🏼
Never seen a new bike purchase and not get a full tank of gas with it. Have fun with all that torque, definitely totally different animal from the inline 4s. Love my Aprilia RSV4 Factory!
You’ll love it. I’ve the SFV4S grey nero 2024. Best bike I’ve ever bought. Absolutely insane thing. Went SF over Pani as I do long days in saddle, touring across Europe . Love sports bikes but kets not pretend they’re good for anything but an hour blast.
Absolutely, big difference between a true travel bike for pleasure (and enjoyment) and a true crotch-rocket to conquer back roads with, that would be the parallel between the SF and the Pani.
Yeah same engine though. The SF has all the nuts. Sure on a track the Pani is going to dominate due to fairings and. The slightly peakier top end but in the road. Meh. I come from sports bikes and don’t ever get on the SF and think , this thing is lacking power lol😂208hp, I’m leaving most sports bikes behind 🙋♂️ Part of me is sick of sports bikes. But still wanted the rush without the ergos. Rode the Pani and loved her too. Major heat problems due to fairings but at MW’s speeds he won’t notice it 😂 Hopefully he doesn’t finally do himself in . Compared to the last bike, this thing is brutal 🔥
@ YOU have refined & balanced taste in motorcycles for sure bro. Rock on. Yeah the occupational hazards of MaxWrist's profession leave very little margin for error, definitely hope he master's the fat torque curve and powerband of this amazing machine.
Still havent watched rest of vid from 15:24 was with ur live getting the bike shout out to Bunny 😊 excellent job covering/capturing the moment maxwrist bought Brand New 2025 Ducati V4S 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 u guy's rock
Love that motorcycle, & a friend of mine from Houston rides one too (although not a 2025)...this video got me to finally subscribe to your channel, just because I love Ducatis so much, & I think you will do it justice...I admire the way you handled your business in this video... #GOATARMY
Deamnnn can't wait 4 ur next vid break'n it in after all ur modifications & customizing gonna b a sick beast who beyter to unleash it than u .. maxwrist FTW
Crash Test Goat’s rule # 1. Always top off… keep it full of gas, if your friends pull over for gas after only 15 minutes of riding, go ahead and fill up again.
No, the trick is to constantly move through the revs, but dont go over like 9k, and let the bike engine brake and change the gears using the clutch at first, till the engine and its parts all settle good... Bren from BT Moto has a good video of how to break in a new V4. Nevertheless I m a big fan of Max and wouldn't want him to have any trouble with the bike. 👏👌
That's been a hot debate for decades, I remember a popular article over 20 years ago was a guy testing new bikes/engines, hard as vs soft. The hard ran in bikes performed better in the long run, as it seems some glazing of the positions can happen by babying, constant revs early on. I just woke up so I'm not checking but it might be motoman or something similar who did that. Been over a decade I last checked it. I run my new bikes in hard and didn't have a problem mechanically with my 06 Daytona 675, (had it until recently actually), a KTM 890R and my latest is Suzuki gsx 8s. I don't have "super powerful" bikes due to an old injury or nerve damage in shoulder, I can still push fairly hard but at real high speeds, (220nish km/h plus) my shoulder basically can't push, if my size of bikes is questioned 😏
@ Exactly, that's how you get the new parts used to the friction and expansion/contraction and high temps. Your description is right on target. Thanks!
Loud pipes save lives! Very low octane petrol over there! I run my GSXR1000R on 98 here in Australia. BP only though, we have problems with dirty fuel here unfortunately.
Can’t believe you’re not paying attention to your gauges on a new bike. I so wish I could let myself go buy one of these. I’m still on a 04 R1 because I just don’t wanna spend the money. Cash only for me and that makes you think twice before buying things.
5:55 Why does the key say V4, when the bike is a V4S? Ducati skimping on the key. The Ducati V4 should have a V4 key and the Ducati V4S should have a V4S key. 🤔 Ducati skimping out on giving you a full tank of gas for your brand new Ducati V4S? I had to hit the gas station when I bought my Ninja 636, because Kawasaki doesn't give you gas either.

That Beverly Hills sales guy is a legend. Had such a good time chatting with him when I vist3d their store!
Apart from negative comments putting the salesman down for “how much” fuel was in the tank, he must have worked a good deal and seemed trustworthy for “Max Wrist” to purchase from !!
That would explain why "Its really light up front" with no fuel in it lol!
LOL!!! Hilarious, happens to the best of us don't it LOL
I get mine in a few weeks! Just like you, I haven’t been this excited about a bike in a long time. Stay safe man.
Did the exact same on my ZX-10-RR, having too much fun and never saw the indicator!! Congratulations on the Red Rocket from Italy❤
Great to finally get some new content congrats brother
You pay that much for a bike and the dealership don't put enough gas in to get you home.... Wtf...😳
LOL- everybody was just excited I guess right LOL
He was too busy playing his guitar 🎸
When I bought my first used car from a dealership ,15ish years ago, the salesman pulled cash out of his wallet for me to fill the tank. You never forget when someone goes the extra mile for you
the salesman looked like a fruit loop
@@antisocialvr6and his dick😂😂
No break in necessary, straight to 14K rpm 🤣
Was thinking that
Made my butt pucker just thinking about it
then you wonder why bikes have engine issues
I've heard about Italian tune ups , I guess that is an Italian run in.

Literally dynod right off assembly they just say that stuff so if it blows up right after you buy it they can say it’s your fault
Good to see another one of my fellow countrymen made it to Beverley hills. Our aussie accent rules
100%

Ducati technicians can ‘see’ if you’ve “over-revved” the bike during break-in. Revving to 15K RPM on a zero mile, brand new engine isn’t ideal
Ducati V4S, Yeah baby!!!!!!! Most interesting video!! Great to see you on a Ducati again. Interesting dealership in BH no doubt.....
Wristy was sooo ready (& willing) to make this Deal!!! And he will deliver 100%- killing the Game!!! Mad Love MaxWrist(and Bunny of course)..!!
Your new bike is killing the game looking forward to some exciting content 🪿

Should you be running that hard brand new?
Sure, the trick is not to sustain those high RPM's for any long period until you get 1500 miles on it.
