    Nice session but, with respect, barbel need to rest in the net for five\ten minutes before they are held, up weighed and photographed etc.

    Weighing every fish is not nescessary mate you only need to weigh if you think you might have a potentual pb or record fish. Weighing every fish doesn't need to be part of a routine in Angling.
    Great video, great stretch of river well done.

    Hi Andrew. It looks like you have the korum river tripod. I'm thinking of getting a pod as I fish on rocky pegs. Is the korum pod stable without the spikes being pushed into the ground? Obviously I can't push them into rough ground. Does it ever move when getting a savage take or when it's very windy?

      It is the Korum tripod, I've not really used it on rocky pegs, I've not had any problems with it moving. I believe the Pro Logic pod is bigger and heavier so might be better in rocky pegs, though not great if you need to carry it far.

    Hi Andrew, what rods & reels do you use ?

    • @DeggersFishing
      @DeggersFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Rods in the video are 1.75 tc Trevor West Lone Angler, no longer produced. Reels are Shimano Aero GTE 6000B. Rods I use most of the time are Fox Duo Lite, with 2.25 tc tips.

      @@DeggersFishing Thanks for getting back to me What was the peg no ? I fished it last weekend by the Sewage works then further down. Had 3 barbel & 1 chub. It takes me just over 3 hrs to get there but its worth it.
