Thanks for the video- great job of showing by walking around- I subscribed. I was curious to see how Palestinians live. Looks generally clean and well maintained, newer cars on the street, not too many pedestrians except for the bazar. Only discordant note was the non-stop wailing over the loudspeakers destroying the harmony of others in sections of town. I really hope Palestinians get good leaders who are able lead their people into the 21st century and build a modern, viable, secular nation like Kemal Ataturk did in Turkey. Wishing peace and prosperity for all in the Middle East.

It’s very peaceful the city is very high on the mountains so it gets hot during summer but chill at night and in winter very very cold so the streets are very narrow which makes the main souk very busy but it has a great new neighborhoods and the old town are very very beautiful! Ramallah is a one of the biggest in Palestine and it has people come to shop everyday from all the filly around. It need a lot for financial support because the economy is not that big with the occupation over our head

Ramallah aint no Philistine city, Philistine are ancient people that are originated from Greek. If you are so interested, Philistines used to control few Cities, from Gaza to Ashkelon. Those "palestinians" have 0 connection to the ancient Philistine people, the arab muslims just adopted the name palestinians from the 60', to keep the beef with the jews around that area. But today muslim arabs in that region identify as Palestinians, not that it bothers me too much. Ramallah located in Judea and Samaria my friend, which today is recognized under the palestinian authority.
Some people have dual citizenships. Israeli plates can be driven in both Palestine and Israel. While Palestinian plates can only be driven on certain roads in Palestine. Only in Area A and not allowed in areas B and C in the west bank, that are controlled by Israel. If you have an Israeli citizenship, you can get the yellow Israeli plates, and are not bound to Area A.
