I desperately wish there was a game like planet zoo, but focused on an ecosystem simulation, with realistic hunting, social groups, territories, plant growth, fires, fighting, etc

This looked awesome! I'm not sure if you'll build for all Australian animals in this biome only, but if you're doing a separate more tropical one, you should look up Glass House Mountains, and Port Douglas, for inspiration (though I'm sure you already have something in mind ^^)
There will be 2 more episode I think, one in Northern Australia and one in Southern Australia so we can take in the rest of the animals! Thanks for the comment!

If it's easier on your end, I'd say just build a staff village like that for every Planet Wild video. There's very few places that actually have zero people living in them, so it doesn't really detract from the wildness of the place to have some buildings off in the distance, mostly hidden by the landscape.
You are 100% correct but for some reason I just love having 0 staff buildings!

The cinematics look great! Love the emus and now also the dingoes finally don't feel so out of place in the PZ roster anymore with so many other Australian animals to accompany them.

@@ZSHplays Dandenong Ranges National Park, Wilsons Promontory National Park, Alpine National Park, Werribee Gorge State Park, Grampians National Park are all beautiful places in the state of Victoria, which is South East part of Australia. Hope one of these helps inspire you :)

This is wonderful. I've been to the Tanami and all that's missing is the termite hills! Some truly spectacular shots on such a gorgeous build. I'm glad you didn't do the whole road, whew! Planet Zoo has done a great job on kangaroo fights, I almost forgot I wasn't watching a real one! When you do southern Australia, would you consider western Tasmania? There are temperate rainforests there that could be so spectacular, besides being my favourite place on the entire planet.
Thanks Coffemuse! I forgot about termites! What sort of hills do they build there, are they like the ones in game? You read my mind with Tasmania, that is where the video will be set!
@@ZSHplays Yeah the ones in the game would work well, though I'm not sure if they're colourable? They'd need to be red. The Tanami termite hills are small like the in-game ones. Go further north-east towards Darwin and they get MASSIVE. Very excited for Tasmania! :)

Idk if you're already planning something like this but I would love to see a planet wild episode set in the central African rainforest with okapis and bongos or one set in India but maybe in the future once we get some more fitting indian animals since as of now we only have dholes , tigers, elephants and rhinos

Thanks! There are some Asian environments on the list but sadly I don’t have time for more Planet Wild at the moment, hopefully one day I can!
How do the herbivores survive without zookeepers?
I turn off animal welfare so they don't need food. If you check out my How To Build Natural Environments video I explain all the different settings you can use

Hey man I’ve been thinking about buying this game, can you help answer some of my questions before I buy it? Can animals fight and eat each other like Jurassic world evolution? And are there zoo keepers around to feed the animals like the rangers in Jwe2?
Hey Joey, the animals will hunt and eat each other but it’s not as well done as JWE, presumably because that’s the last thing you want to happen in a zoo 😆 if you want a better idea of how the game normally plays check out one of my zoo tours.
