- Today it is all about painting soft and hard edges in watercolor. How the different edge treatments make your painting so much more interesting to look at. I'm also sharing how to use magazine images as inspiration when you want to create and don't know what to use. Here's how I use the inspiration, paint it then take what I learned and create a new piece of art work in my own style. It is a great example of the Art of Practice.

Great lesson on edges but also it helped me understand for the first time that I am really creating shadows of the area that is touched under the object, not shadowing the object touching. Duh!
