Nice! Just to clarify, the MOSS wasnt a space ship, but a kind of portal between dimentions kind of thing. It was made to be able to travel between worlds, but wasn't fully developed before we were forced to use it to escape the nether infection. That's why it malfunctioned and warped some people's DNA.
This is so good!!! its a shame that we never finished connecting the second timeline into the season 1 lore cause it would've added so much depth to the story.
