Lovely pattern 💕. From how I read the instructions, here is a simplified version:
CO multiplies of 5 + 4.
Row 1-6: *K4, P1*, K4
Row 7-12: *P4, K1*, P4

only thing with this stitch is isn't soft, would have to use really small size needles for that,
