i’m just a highschool student but the ring sizes look like they are measured by the diameter and because the string length is the circumference of the circle the equation of the diameter from the circumference is 3.14•diameter where 3.14 is an approximate value of Pi or π

Why not incorporate the 3.14 factor into the chart, so people do not have to divide unnecessary???

so if
circumference = π•diameter
the diameter would be calculated
diameter = circumference/π
